Where Are They Now: Zhane

If you know some sh*t about the 90s, then you absolutely know about the group Zhane. As a group they stood out for three reasons: there were only two of them, their harmonies were SUPER on point and their trademark short ‘dos. The duo consisted of Renee Neufville (left, above and below) and Jean Norris-Baylor (right). Their break out single was Hey Mr. DJ and the song was FIYAH (young bucks, feel free to CLICK HERE to get your dose of the goodness). Both ladies are still grinding it out on the music front and you can click HERE for Renee’s Myspace page and HERE for Jean’s Myspace page.
PS: Doesn’t Renee resemble Toni Childs (Girlfriends)? I’m just saying…
Click HERE for another hit by the duo called Sending My Love.

I remember that. That girl sounded so good. She had a voice on her too. I wonder why she never tried the music career thing again.

Mark, I totally agree they were slept on as I was just thinking the same thing this week. Jia, this posting is just beautiful. I pulled out my Zhane CD Sunday, 11/22/2009, as I was cooking dinner and listened to it the whole week. It brought back so many memories that it has sparked additional productivity that I need to move forward in some stagnant areas. I decided to see what Zhane has been up to today and I see this posting. It brought me to tears. It appears Zhane is on our hearts. Jia, you said it correctly, when u said, if u know some sh*t about the 90's, then u know Zhane. Their music is truly a blessing. Keep up the good work!!!
