Where Are They Now: Alysia Rogers + Baha Jackson
Remember Ricky’s baby mama in the movie Boyz N the Hood? What about Damita in the 1992 movie Class Act starring Kid & Play? Alysia Rogers was the lady who portrayed both characters.
When it was suggested that I find out where she was, I had to see if I could look her up. I ALWAYS thought that she was freakin’ sexy as HELL! She just oozed it in my (then) young eyes. She had that hoochie mama sexy thing going on! Well, below you can find some pics of her, snatched from her Myspace page. Although she hasn’t logged into her page since last year, her age reads 31 and I KNOW that’s a lie. That would mean that she played both characters at around the time she was 13 or 14 years old? *deep eyeroll* She’s still fine as hell though! Boyz N the Hood was a classic and one of my all time favorites. I remember Alysia and when I saw the movie I thought she was sexy as hell (moreso than Regina King and Nia Long). It's sad, but it's hard for a lot of black actresses to stay working in the film industry these days.
