Last September, R&B crooner, Trey Songz, was arrested after a party goer by the name of Donna McIntosh-Enoe accused him of angrily throwing a wad of cash at her face at NYC’s Club Perfection.

According to reports, Donna was with the singer in the VIP section when she decided to snap a cell phone pic. Trey apparently wasn’t going for it and snatched the phone from her hand in an attempt to delete the photo. When he couldn’t successfully discard the pic, he allegedly got angry, and threw a wad of cash leaving her with a black eye.

Fast forward to present day, the charges have now been dropped against the Chapter V singer due to lack of evidence. According to TMZ:

Officials investigated the incident… and ultimately determined they couldn’t prove he did anything illegal, so Trey is in the clear.

But the Queens D.A.’s office tells TMZ … even if Trey did throw cash, ‘There would be no clear case of misconduct. There was just no high level of recklessness.’

Hopefully, Trey will watch where he throws those one’s next time… Post your thoughts!

Trey Songz’ latest video, Fumble, is set to officially debut on Monday, but if you just can’t wait, Trigga has dropped a short little teaser to hold fans over.

Fumble is definitely one of my favorite songs on the Chapter V disc, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to the full video dropping.

Trey Songz is usually known for crooning about dropping panties and things of that nature, but the Neighbors Know My Name singer isn’t afraid to also spit a few bars once in a while either.

Tremaine just released a short freestyle over A$AP Rocky’s Fuckin’ Problems, and I actually think he’s pretty nice on the mic. He still raps about all things sexual of course, just a little more explicit than his usual R&B tracks.

What do you guys think? Are we here for Trey’s rap career or should he stick to the slow jams?

After learning yesterday that Trey Songz was arrested back in September for making it rain assaulting a woman with dollar bills at Club Perfection, we now have a few more specifics about the incident.

Although all of the drama went down at a gentleman’s club, it turns out that the victim was NOT a stripper (like we all assumed she was).

Donna McIntosh-Enoe was at the record release party with her husband, and apparently the two of them paid $700 to join Trey and his entourage in the VIP section. Everything was going fine until Donna decided to snap a cell phone pic of Tremaine, and he was not having it. Allegedly, the Bottoms Up singer snatched the phone from Donna and attempted to delete the photo. When he couldn’t successfully discard the pic, he then got angry, and threw a wad of cash at Donna, leaving her with a black eye.

‘Everyone else was taking a picture,’ she said. ‘The difference for me and the other girls is that they were naked and I had clothes on.’

But the frustrated Songz couldn’t trash the picture, so he threw the money at her face instead.

‘He tried to delete the picture, but he didn’t know how to use my phone,’ she said. McIntosh-Inoe said she couldn’t bring herself to pick up the discarded greenbacks.

‘It was insulting that he just threw something,’ she said. ‘He was verbally disrespectful as well. . . . He embarrassed me in front of everyone in the club.’

According to Donna, Trey, nor his camp, didn’t even attempt to apologize, and she decided to report the incident at a police station near her home.

Trey was then hit (no pun intended) with misdemeanor assault and harassment charges in September, and subsequently, an order of protection was issued after a following court appearance in November. Trigga’s camp has still remained quiet on the situation, not releasing any statements regarding the allegations.

Honestly, this whole story is a damn mess…but I’m still stuck on the fact that Donna and her husband paid $700 to sit in VIP. I mean, really?!

I’m not sure how this managed to slip by for so long, but the folks over at TMZ have now found out that Trey Songz was arrested back in September for assault…involving a stack of dollar bills.

Yes, that’s right, Trigga has been officially charged with making it rain.

Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) had an album release party on August 21 at a gentleman’s club in Queens. According to police, somewhere between 4:00 and 4:15 AM on the 22nd, Trey became involved in an altercation inside the club.

Cops described the incident this way in the criminal complaint: “Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant’s left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye.”

Songz was not arrested that night, but rather a month later for misdemeanor assault. Songz had a court date in NY on November 1 and an order of protection was issued. He is due back in court in February.

Apparently Trey and his people have yet to comment on the situation, but you guys sure can…post your thoughts!
