Erica Mena WDIGFH Erica Menas New Single + Jen the Pen Uses White Privilege on Love & Hip Hop

During last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop New York, Erica Mena dropped a new single called Where Do I Go From Here. The song, which is autotune heavy, left Erica feeling proud as she walked out of the studio.

But she was proud….

Are you feeling her track?

Additionally, during last night’s episode of the show, whiny cast member, Jen the Pen, flexed her white privilege after an argument with fellow cast member, Raqi Thunda. The two women were working together to host a radio show in New York, but beforehand, Raqi had to be told to calm herself when flirting with famous radio guest. During the first taping, Raqi found herself having a very sexual conversation with a male guest, leaving Jen the Pen feeling very uncomfortable.

Doesn’t this shit beat all?

A few days ago, news began circulating the web that Love & Hip Hop New York actor, Rich Dollaz, wasn’t taking care of a child he had with a woman named Chaundrea. Well, this video shows that you absolutely can’t skip out on your responsibilities…at least not for too long.

While interviewing with the blog site Mouth to Ears, the police rolled up on his ass with his baby’s mother and arrested him on the spot. The funny thing is is he noticed the cops right before they came to cuff him, saying that he doesn’t like them. Little did he know that within seconds, he’d have more of a reason not to. LOL!

You seriously have to be a trash ass guy to give yourself the name “Rich Dollaz” but refusing to break off a few to take care of a child you helped produce. If the guy didn’t annoy me before, he most certainly annoys me now. This is absolutely hilarious! Post your thoughts!

PS: the arrest starts at 1:12.

Last night, Mona Scott-Young and her emphysema laced voice narrated the beginning of the new season of Love & Hip Hop New York. Although the show will follow the lives of several familiar (and somewhat unfamiliar) faces, it seems to be finding its center around the relationship between Joe Budden and former girlfriend, Tahiry.

Unfortunately, it’s not likely that I’ll be providing full recaps of the show for you guys, mainly b/c from that ONE episode, I wasn’t impressed enough to give it my full attention. While we are already hip to the scripted reality TV game, I think that this newbie is a bit over the top with the dramatics and table flipping. Nice try on Mona’s part, though.

If you got a chance to check it out, post some of the high and low lights of the show. If not, check it out above, and post your thoughts.

If you’re looking for a really good recap of last night’s episode, check out Sandra Rose’s blog.

VH1 has blessed us with an extended trailer for Love & Hip Hop New York, which is slated to air on January 7th.

The most exciting part: the drama between Joe Budden and his former girlfriend/booty model, Tahiry

The least exciting part: Having to listen to Mona Scott-Young’s husky ass voice narrating the start, middle, and ending of the entire season. Smoker’s delight…

Whether you’re ready or not, it’s on the way!

Love & Hip Hop made a name for itself starting out in New York. Even with New York as the base, no one ever expected the Atlanta cast and crew to blow them out the water. Check out VH1′s blog to find out who will be on the show.

The new season starts on VH1 on January 7th. I think that the Atlanta cast is a TOUGH act to follow; they kept us glued to the television on Monday nights. Do you think the NY cast can do the same numbers this go ’round? Post your thoughts.
