Last night marked the premiere of the reality show many were waiting on. After that dry season of Love & Hip Hop New York, fans of the franchise were please to see the return of the Atlanta installment….featuring the same cast of crazies that we have grown to love.

The season started giving us a glimpse of Mimi Faust taking a shower and later, applying makeup that never made its way into the final cut edits. Mimi goes on to explain the goings on of her year, but not before honing in on a shot of Stevie J, who’s posted up in the bed playing with their daughter, Eva.

All new season and Mimi still hasn’t found her voice.

The cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta took over the Cream Lounge on Monday night in Atlanta, GA for an exclusive premiere of the season’s first episode. Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Mimi Faust, Erica Dixon, a very pregnant Rasheeda, Kirk Frost, Benzino, Momma Dee, Ariane Davis, Shay ‘Francine’ Johnson, and new cast members, Che Mack, and DJ Traci Steele, were all in attendance.

Lil Scrappy Miss Jia 500x343 Money in the Bank? NOT! Judge Orders Garnishment of Lil Scrappys Love & Hip Hop Checks

Rest in peace to ballin’ out at Lenox Mall….

Rapper and Love & Hip Hop star, Lil’ Scrappy, won’t be cashing many of his checks from the reality TV show, as a judge recently ordered that those checks be garnished to satisfy an outstanding debt to a concert booking company called Heavy Rotation.

According to reports, Heavy Rotation sought legal action against Scrappy for $72,218.68, and he was ordered by GA courts to pay up. The company claims that Scrappy never did attempt to satisfy the debt from 2010, and the debt has since ballooned to over $108k due to interest and legal fees. Not wanting to wait on their money, Heavy Rotation requested that the judge snatch the checks he receives for his appearances on Love & Hip Hop, and they will continue to do so until the debt is satisfied.

I’m not sure what he’s paid for being on the show, but I doubt that it’s enough to satisfy that debt anytime soon. My only question is….how was this company ever convinced that they could book Scrappy for anything music related?

Production is underway on the second season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and it looks like there’s plenty of drama in store for us.

VH1 cameras were present Wednesday night at cast member, Karlie Redd’s, hair launch release party, and rumor has it that Scrappy’s baby mama/fiancée(?), Erica Dixon, and former jumpoff, Francine Shay ‘Buckeey’ Johnson, came to blows.

Here’s the tea according to Funky Dineva:

Erica was already at the party when Shay arrived. Shay did not even make it inside the party before the fight broke out. Somehow or another the two began exchanging words and a fight ensued.

Sources from Erica’s camp say that Shay was the instigator. I’ve talked to several key people who were at the salon and several of them stated that when it was all said and done, it looked as if Shay was the one that got beat up. Folks are saying Shay’s hair was all messed up and she was indeed bleeding when it was all over. One source went on to say that after the fight, Shay was taken to a bathroom where she remained for about an hour while one of the stylist at the salon attempted to put her hair and face back together.

Sources from Shay’s camp did confirm that Shay was indeed bleeding. However, they cite that shay was on top of Erica and “winning” until Erica picked up a shinny object and hit her in the face with it, causing her to bleed.

Not surprisingly, both ladies took to their social networks to address the situation.

I think it’s safe to say that something definitely popped off, but it will be interesting to see what actually went down. We won’t have to wait too long either, because the new season is set to debut on Monday, April 22.

Nothing pisses me off more than a tease…and that’s exactly what VH1 and Mona Scott-Young are serving with this 17 second clip of what’s to come for the brand new season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

The most intriguing storyline on the show belongs to Mimi Faust, Joseline Hernandez, & Stevie J, so it’s only right that this 17 second clip includes them.

Don’t blink, though….you’ll miss Francine.

The new season starts on April 22nd, and after the tragedy that was Love & Hip Hop New York, I can say that I’m excited about this.

Well, this run of VH1′s popular reality TV show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, is officially over and you’ll have to wait until next season to see what the cast has been up to between seasons.

During last night’s episode, Stevie J came clean and said that he doesn’t feel as though he and Joseline were involved in anything beyond a physical and business relationship. We also got a chance to see a FULL montage of the infamous Stevie J faces that I have grown to love OH so much.

Additionally, Mimi and Joseline had a few words with one another where Joseline told her that it’s not her fault that Mimi isn’t as famous as she is.
