LL Cool J Brad Paisley Accidental Racist 500x375 New Music: Are You Bothered by the Song Accidental Racist, Brad Paisley ft. LL Cool J?

And in so, you mad or nah news, country singer, Brad Paisley, has collaborated with LL Cool J for a song called Accidental Racist.

In it, he says that he’s “just a white man” who’s trying to understand what it’s like not to be, detailing moments of wearing a rebel flag in front of a Black man who was serving him. He goes on to say that our generation didn’t start this nation, just before LL Cool J makes an appearance and tells ‘them’ that they can be pardoned if ‘they’ won’t judge him for his durag.

The song is raising a few eyebrows, but I just chuckled and clocked out when LL likened a part of history to his dirty ass durag….and said conversate.

The relationship between the Mason-Dixon needs some fixin’….

RIP to Robert E Lee, but I gotta thank Abraham Lincoln for freein’ me…

Jesus, make it stop.

In case you missed it last night (like myself), LL Cool J sat down with Mother O for an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. The rapper turned actor talks about everything from his career to his abusive childhood, and witnessing his father shoot his mother and grandfather.

I guess it would leave you scarred. It was tough. You know what’s interesting, my mother forgave my father. He came back into my life and made amends for a lot of things, by helping to guide me. My father, made a massive blunder, but he also did a lot of things right. I learned to hand out the mercy, that I like to receive.

We don’t usually see too many intimate interviews with rapper/actor LL Cool J, but leave it to Oprah to change all of that. Mr. Smith sits down for the latest edition of Next Chapter, airing this Sunday on OWN.

During the episode, LL opens up about dealing with abuse as a child, his career, family, and that crazy home invader situation he encountered last year.

Will you guys be tuning in?

When Trying to Fit Goes Wrong: Lets Discuss LL Cool Js Ratchet

…the things that happen when I take a little break.

About two weeks ago, the rapper that never ages, LL Cool J, dropped a song via his website called Ratchet. Since I was away, I obviously missed this little gem, but got the pleasure of hearing it on my way back from the movies (Alex Cross is REALLY good, by the way).

In the song, LL sounds as though he’s trying to keep up with the younger generation talking about women, money, and flossing.

I’m absolutely not here for it. Between Brian McKnight and his willingness to show the ladies how to work their vaginas, and Wyclef’s newfound love for wearing ultra petite speedos on motorcycles, I think I’ve had my fill of the older cats trying to keep up.

What do you guys think of the song?

LL Cool J 477x600 Video: LL Cool J Takes Down Home Intruder

Well I guess that body of LL Cool J’s isn’t just for show.

Early this morning, a would-be burglar broke into the rapper/actor’s L.A. home, and Mr. Smith decided to take matters into his own hands. According to TMZ, this is how it went down.

LL Cool J came face-to-face with a burglary suspect in his home, and took the guy down with his own hands early this morning.

According to law enforcement sources … the suspect entered LL’s Los Angeles area house around 2AM, but unfortunately for him the actor/rapper/badass was home.

We’re told LL heard some commotion downstairs, went to check it out … and found the intruder.

Sources say the intruder had tripped LL’s alarm system, but the “NCIS Los Angeles” star — who is a physical beast — decided to go hand-to-hand combat on the dude … and managed to detain him until LAPD arrived a few minutes later to make the arrest.

We’re told LL is okay, but the suspect — who will be booked for burglary — suffered a few bruises.

Police say LL will not be charged with anything in regards to the beat down, but the suspect suffered both a broken jaw and nose.

Check out a local news report below, and post your thoughts!

Sidenote: I just cannot deal with this chick’s reporting style, ‘LL Cool J don’t play!’
