Last night, Lil’ Wayne stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live. The rapper opened up about his seizures and recent health scare, getting banned by the Miami Heat, his relationship with LeBron James, Chris Bosh’s wife, and retiring after Tha Carter V.

On his recent health scare & seizures:

I’m great. I had a few seizures and the one that was very serious was the one that everyone was worried about. That one was serious because the house that I was in has an upstairs and downstairs… I was upstairs and my homies were downstairs, and they didn’t even know that I was up there. One of them was just like, ‘He hasn’t come down in a minute’, and they came up there. It’s a private, medical matter I’ve been dealing with my whole life. We’re used to it happening, so my doctor and all my homies, now they know.

On LeBron James & The Miami Heat Ban:

He’s a stand up guy. It’s not true. I didn’t get banned because they told me I’m allowed back whenever I want, but I don’t think they want me there so I won’t make it hard on either one of us.

On retiring after Tha Carter V:

I want to retire after Tha Carter V, which I hope to be my last album. Tha Carter V will not be my next album, but after Tha Carter V, I hope I can retire.

The visuals for the EDM cut are centered around a house party, and feature the Australian DJ duo, the YMCMB songstress, and of course, Weezy makes an appearance as well.

The KAAANG and Lil’ Wayne are back again with their latest collaborative effort, Wit Me. The track serves as promo for their upcoming, co-headlining America’s Most Wanted tour, kicking off July 9th in Birmingham, Alabama.

The track will be available on iTunes at midnight, and the accompanying visuals are set to premiere at 10 p.m. EST on VEVO.

I had absolutely NO plans of watching this years Billboard Music Awards, but after seeing THIS performance by Miguel in his stretchless jeans and kitten heels (with the pointy toe, thank you), I am SO glad that I did.

If Rick Ross being dropped by Reebok over his controversial lyrical content wasn’t a big enough wake up call for fellow emcees, maybe this will be. Lil Wayne has now lost his endorsement deal with Mountain Dew as well, due to his insensitive bars about Emmett Till found on Future’s Karate Chop (Remix).

A rep for Weezy has said the partnership ended due to ‘creative differences,’ but a spokesperson from PepsiCo had this to say:

“We do not plan any additional work with Lil Wayne moving forward,” PepsiCo said in a statement on Friday. “His offensive reference to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand.”

Earlier this week, Lil Wayne finally issued a formal apology to Till’s family, but clearly it was too little, too late.

I don’t know exactly what Lil Wayne has been doing lately, but it’s probably safe to say that he hasn’t made his health a priority.

After suffering multiple, almost fatal seizures earlier this year, it’s been reported that the rapper was hospitalized once again last night.

Via TMZ:

Sources close to Wayne tell us … the rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai in L.A. late Tuesday night by his bodyguards. We’re told he suffered a single seizure and was treated and released early this morning.

Wayne took to Twitter to reassure fans that he’s doing okay now; but let’s just hope this is the last time we hear Weezy and seizure in the same sentence.
