Kelly Rowland 2 Miss Jia Photos: Kelly Rowland Steps Out Makeup less in NYC

It’s more common than not for your fave celeb to be glammed up by a team of pros before stepping out of the house each day, but Kelly Rowland is not afraid to hit the streets like us regular folks.

The Kisses Down Low singer was recently spotted at a beauty supply store in NYC, looking extra casual in a white tee and beanie, and *GASP* a face not beat to perfection.

Kelly’s lack of makeup didn’t seem to bother her one bit (not that it should, she still looks gorgeous), as she posed for pics with some fans in the shop.

Check out a few snaps below, and post your thoughts!

DestinysChild MissJia 500x354 Kelly Rowland Reveals More Details About ‘Non Destiny’s Child’ Track, You Changed

Kisses Down Low singer, Kelly Rowland, recently revealed that she would be collaborating with her sisters in music, Michelle Williams, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter on a new track slated to appear on her forthcoming fourth studio album, Talk A Good Game. Although, the ladies came together for the new record, don’t get your hopes up because Kelly is adamant that the track is NOT a Destiny’s Child reunion…

In a recent interview with Radio.com, Kelly revealed that their new collaborative effort, You Changed, was produced by Harmony Samuels (Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige), written by Courtney Harrell (Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige), and a far cry from her previous, more suggestive singles…

I actually have collaborated with my sisters, Beyoncé, and Michelle, on the album, and I’m so excited for people to hear the record. [The record] Produced by Harmony and written by Courtney Harrell, and it’s a great record. Our voices sound so great together, I am so excited for people to hear it… The record I did with Beyoncé and Michelle is called, You Changed. It’s basically about a relationship that has gone awry and not in the best place. The way the record is written is genius. I tip my hat to Courtney Harrell. The way she is witty and sarcastic, lyrically, just made me so excited to sing it.

Talk A Good Game, is set to be released June 4th.

Are you still hoping for a Destiny’s Child reunion? Check out her interview below, and post your thoughts!

KellyRowland TheBreakfastClub MissJia 500x446 Kelly Rowland Talks The Importance of Kisses Down Low, Beyoncés Bow Down, & Keyshia Cole

Sexy songstress, Kelly Rowland, recently stopped by Power 105′s The Breakfast Club to dish on Beyoncé’s Bow Down, a Destiny’s Child reunion, being too grown to respond to Keyshia Cole, and the importance of Kisses Down Low

I think it’s important that you know what you’re doing… The main thing is know what you’re doing. Please. I think it’s very important between two people to be completely honest about everything, including that. Give them a hand, help them out. It’s like a child, you have to teach a child. You know what I mean? You have to make sure you teach them what’s going on.

On Keyshia’s negative comments towards Bey & Michelle:

You know what, do you have to hit somebody or give somebody words in order for them to…? Silence is the best power. Just talk, keep talkin’. I don’t think that it’s important to respond back, because you’re just fueling the fire. It’s just ridiculous, we too grown for that.

On Bow Down:

When you understand as a woman, you can accept the record. People are going to talk, who cares? You’re an artist, you’re allowed to try out new things. I think that she’s blessed to have freedom.

BigTigger KellyRowland MissJia Video: Kelly Rowland Defends Beyoncés Bow Down (I Been On), It’s Her Expression

Former Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland, recently stopped by V103′s The Big Tigger Show to dish on her forthcoming, fourth solo album, Talk A Good Game, and defend her sister-friend, Beyoncé, over her new track, Bow Down (I Been On).

On her forthcoming album, Talk A Good Game:

I’m actually in the process of wrapping it up this weekend. This is actually the last recording session I’ve got for this album, but I’m so excited. I’ve been in the studio with Dream. I’ve been in the studio with Harmony. I’ve been in the studio with Pharrell. I’ve been in the studio with Kevin Cossom, who is incredible. When I tell you, he is so incredible, and I’m so happy I got the opportunity to work with him.

On Beyoncé’s Bow Down (I Been On):

I’ve heard pieces of what she’s done. She’s heard things that I’ve recorded and I just think it scratches the surface to everything else. I think it’s a great record. It’s her expression. I think, as an artist, you can express yourself however you want to and I just can’t wait for everybody to hear the rest of the record. It is insane.

Sexy songstress, Kelly Rowland, has released the colorful, Colin Tilley-directed visuals to her latest single, Kisses Down Low, produced by Mike WiLL Made It. The track will be featured on her forthcoming album, Talk A Good Game:

I’m so excited about this video. The theme is fun and flirty and pinup. The makeup is poppin’, the hair is poppin’, the styling is so cool, but it feels just really flirty. I wanted to bring that out of the song instead of making it as racy.

Kelly Rowland 500x500 Kelly Rowland Chats With Rolling Stone, Throws Subtle Shade at Keyshia Cole

Kelly Rowland has kicked off 2013 with a bang, and the Kisses Down Low singer recently sat down with Rolling Stone to talk about what she has in store for the coming months, and of course, she had to touch on the Keyshia Cole Super Bowl drama.

“Kisses Down Low” is a flirty, fun song. Is this indicative of the direction of Talk a Good Game?

“Kisses Down Low” is just a piece of the story of Talk a Good Game. I’m really honest on this album. There’s another song that I have, “Dirty Laundry.” Even the title track is about relationships – the ins, the outs – all the interesting moments of relationships. I’m really ready for people to hear this album. It’s kind of hard to keep it to myself.

Who are you collaborating with on the new album?

I’m still putting everything together, but I called on some new talent from Canada, like T-Minus and Boi-1da, who I love being in the studio with. Kevin Cossum, who just pulls melody out of his ears, Rock City, who completely know how to ride a beat and a cadence that’s crazy, and Mike WiLL’s genius-osity – I’m gonna make up a word – where he just knows what the streets are talking about.

You reunited with Destiny’s Child at the Super Bowl. Keyshia Cole received some blowback for criticizing Michelle Williams’ performance on Twitter. Do you have any thoughts on her comments?

It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said.

And that ladies and gentleman, is how you throw shade with class! Head over to Rolling Stone to check out more Q&A with Kelly.
