Kelly Rowland offered the world a key to her Lisa Frank diary yesterday when she dropped a new track called Dirty Laundry. The song details feeling lost in a world filled with Beyoncé and suffering abuse at the hands of a man she dated for a while.

While the King Sweet & Petite (The Dream) produced track had the internet filled with questions and speculation, the singer admits that it took days to let it all hang out.

It was very emotional. It took me days to record. I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not sob through it. I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me. Dream said, ‘I want to write you a record so that people will know exactly who you are, underneath it all.

Noted. Since we’ve had a full 24 hours to let this record sink in, what are your thoughts on it?

The song sounds as though she went into the studio with a page or two from an old diary and just let it all hang out.

Kelly Rowland was recently spotted hitting the NYC streets sans makeup, and now, the Kisses Down Low singer is taking the fresh faced look to a bigger audience.

Kelly was named to People Magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful’ list for 2013, and inside the issue you can find the natural beauty confidently posing with little to no makeup on.

Over the weekend, the Kisses Down Low singer attended the annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, and looked amazing in an white ensemble. Kelly paired a chic pantsuit with matching white pumps, and finished the look off with a high bun.

Miss Rowland wasn’t just looking fabulous either. She also took the stage during the event for an intimate performance of her EDM hit, Love Takes Over.

Between Beyoncé’s buzz track, Bow Down (I Been Down), and American Idol alum, Fantasia Barrino’s new single, it looks as though Chopped & Screwed vocals are making there way back to R&B…

Fanny joined writers/producers, Kyle Stewart, Harmony Samuels, Al Sherrod Lambert, and Missy Elliott, to co-write and produce her second single, Without Me, featuring the sultry, Kelly Rowland, and Missy Elliott herself. The track will appear on her forthcoming album, Side Effects Of You, due April 23rd.

It’s more common than not for your fave celeb to be glammed up by a team of pros before stepping out of the house each day, but Kelly Rowland is not afraid to hit the streets like us regular folks.
