diamond souljaboy2 500x375 Will Diamond & Soulja Boy Join the Cast of Love & Hip Hop Season 2?

As if Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was not already full of drama and ratchetness (that we all love), rumor has it that washed up rapping couple, Diamond and Soulja Boy want a piece of the action.

Season 2 has already been picked up by Vh1 and will premiere sometime in January 2013 with the new additions and a subtraction (Rasheeda’s husband, Kirk, will NOT be returning). Diamond was originally apart of this first season but when she caught wind of Momma Dee joining the cast, she quietly backed out…and I can’t say that I blame her either.

Do you think the addition of Diamond and Soulja Boy is a good idea? Post your thoughts!

Diamond Diamond Speaks with The Breakfast Club on Scrappy, Love & Hip Hop, & Being Positive

Although Scrappy would be less inclined to agree, Diamond seems like an upstanding chick that’s just trying to make it.

Diamond recently sat down with New York’s The Breakfast Club to talk about her former relationship with Scrappy, making the decision to remove herself from the hit reality show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and doing a 40+ city tour to help promote her upcoming projects.

When asked why she chooses not to speak about Scrappy in full detail or his mother’s disparaging remarks, she took the high road.

The truth is the truth. That’s why I don’t entertain negativity and negative things. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at it. Maybe in my music, I do have certain parts (in my music) where I’ll talk about my life and the truth. I feel that when God presents the opportunity to open up and more and really go into detail, I will. But for the most part, if I was a bad person or if I did anything wrong, I don’t see why my look is so good right now and God is blessing me. I do right by everybody. Anybody who knows me knows that I’m a good person, I’m a very loyal person. I’m not gonna say anything bad about them. I’m not gonna stoop to that level…not saying they’re below me.

Diamond took a mini break from her Massengill ritual to talk to MTV News about Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. She was scheduled to appear on the new reality TV show, but abruptly backed out before the season started. Rumor has it that Lil’ Scrappy’s, mother, Momma D, played a huge role in it, but who knows?

However, judging by some of the comments that Momma D makes about Diamond on the show, I don’t think that it’s too farfetched.

MTV News caught up with Miss 32 Flavors, and she says that she’s completely unbothered.

You know, I wish everybody the best. I feel like only one person can judge me and that’s God. He knows me. That’s my past; I’m in the future right now so you know…I wish everybody the best.

And then Soulja Boy chimes in:

The way I deal about it, I just try to keep everything positive because we focused. This my baby, this my girl. So anything said about her is like basically they saying it about me. I’m backing her 100% and we just focusing on the positive. Anybody talking about our name on TV, that’s just bringing us up more so…salute to them. We wish them the best.

I’m still waiting on that press release about Soulja Boy and those dirty ass fingernails.
