Ciara has been putting in a solid comeback effort with her latest single, Body Party, and in an attempt to hold on to that buzz, she’s released an official remix to the cut.
CiCi grabbed boo thang, Future, along with fellow ATLien, B.o.B., for the track, and put a little more emphasis on the My Boo sample.

Future stopped by The Rickey Smiley Morning Show to talk about upcoming projects, his new boo Ciara, and to combat negative talks that he’s trying to steal T-Pain’s swag.
When asked about his budding relationship with Ciara, the sapper says that her drive and work ethic is unmatched and this was part of the reason why he loved her.
Just in case you weren’t caught up to speed (like me), T-Pain seems to think that Future is trying to be him, and posted one such example to his Instagram account a few weeks back.
When asked about a possible collaboration with T-Pain, he said that now isn’t the time.

Body Party singer, Ciara, stopped by The Wendy Williams Show this morning to dish on her forthcoming fifth studio album, Ciara, the decline in her album sales, being in love, whether or not she plans on getting married, and of course Wendy had to touch on her non-friendship with Rihanna…

On the decline in her album sales:
I feel like… at least from my eyes, when I look at people I really admire and respect, it’s a journey. It’s not about the short term of it all, and everyone is going to hit a few bumps in the road, you’re gonna get punched a few times, you’re gonna fall, but most importantly it’s about getting back up. For me, I went through a phase where I was kind of trying different things in life, whether it was meeting people or meeting new friends… I think that’s what you gotta do in life, you gotta try things, and find what works for you, and what doesn’t.
On whether she would judge a competition show like American Idol:
I don’t know… I’m not going to say so much on a singing show because there are some cool things I’m working on now that I can’t talk about… but I always used to have a problem judging or the idea of judging because I know I’m not perfect, and who am I to tell someone how to do something. I feel like there are so many things I have to work on for myself, but I think that if I was to do it, I would definitely be the nicer judge. It’s hard to be mean to somebody.
On her non-friendship with Rihanna:
I’ve said all I need to say about her, and I’m totally in a different space. It’s all positivity and love from my perspective and how I get down, and I wish her well.
On whether she plans on getting married to Future:
I’m very happy… I don’t know.
On explaining the tattoo if the relationship doesn’t work out:
This is what I feel… this is the place I’m in. You know how I am, I’ve always been so reserved or to myself…. At this day in my life, I’m so comfortable in my skin, and I feel so good about where I am, and I’m very confident and comfortable in the way that he loves me, so I say that to say I’m going to put into the universe positive things.

Don’t expect this beef between Rihanna and Ciara to die down any time soon… A fan recently tagged Rihanna in a screen shoot from Ciara’s recent interview with San Francisco’s Wild 94.9, prompting Rihanna to go on a mini rant about why Cici feels the need to mention her in every interview instead of focusing on her forthcoming album…
It’s like, ‘Yea I know you’re here to talk about (insert album title) but we wanna talk about a more relevant topic… Rihanna!!!’ Like she sits there and falls for it everytime!!!!

In case you missed it Friday night, Ciara was the guest on Jenny McCarthy’s new late night talk show on VH1. In her typical style, Jenny didn’t hold anything back when chopping it up with the Body Party singer, asking about her relationship with Future, if all black men are well endowed, and whether she has a beef with Rihanna.
CiCi definitely kept it cute with her answers, and it looks like she was genuinely having a good time too.
Ciara continued on her promo trail this week, stopping by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday to personally drop off her Body Party video. In what could’ve been a super awkward moment, she was interviewed by host and ex-boyfriend, Bow Wow, but both managed to keep it pretty professional. (Of course, Bow did have to throw in his lil’ comment about CiCi being like a daughter to his mom, but besides that, he wasn’t too shady.)

Ciara has officially released the visual for her new single, Body Party, and dare I say that this is the first time in a LONG ass time that I’ve liked anything that she’s done!
Featuring her new boo, Future, the singer shows us how to twerk it a bit to the sensual tune! If this is a preview of what’s to come, I’d say that she’s officially back.
