Soulja Boy Menstruating

I guess it’s finally Soulja Boy’s turn to borrow one of my Kotex. Last night, SB took to his Twitter Page to vent his frustrations about the music business, blaming the “crackerz” for making him something that he’s not.

I’m assuming that since Bow Wow b*tched about this same thing a few weeks ago, this has become the industry Midol of sorts. When an album isn’t selling as well as an artist expects, we can now blame it on the genre and everybody else but not the music in general? Boy bye…

In order to let something go, you have to be a part of it to begin with. But good luck with that!

Oh wow he went off on them “Crackerz” Twitter can definitely have its cons and this is one of them now all the white people are prolly gon be talking shit….LOL LOL!

  2. Hope Says:

It was wrong him to name call, but sometime management has A lot to do with record sells…

We see it all the time, an artist wants one thing and they want something else..

Rhianna is a great example, she said that they wanted her to do the Island girl thing, and she wanted to “be herself”. The album didn’t sell, they let her do her thing on the second album, and now shes a star.

I dont mean to be rude, but just like with the MJ case, sometimes white media/management think they know what they are talking about, and they don’t know shit … sorry.

WOW ! I wonder how all 2 of his fans, feel about him saying “fuck yall ” ! SMH ! I’m not gonna lie I like Soulja Boy (minus his music) so it was kinda sad, seeing him go off like that ! He’s gonna be regrettin & apologizing very soon…

  4. DANJ! Says:

Wooooooow. As much as I dislike this kid’s music and think he makes some of the weakest shit ever, I can understand how he could be frustrated if that is the case. Lots of people, even the biggest stars, love making music but hate the music INDUSTRY.

But I also see your point too, because a lotta people love the industry when it’s workin’ for them, but they hate everything it has to do with when their shit ain’t poppin’ anymore…

Either way, I could see this getting him in a lil’ trouble. But maybe it’s somethin’ he needed to get outta his system. I’m guessin’ he had a real bad day yesterday, lol.

while i don’t understand why he said “fuck ya’ll” to everybody, i kinda understood what he was sayin. makin music was fun for him when he was coming up, he did what he wanted to do to create what he feels is his good music. now that he’s dealing with corporated execs and record labels, its stops being fun, now its just “business

  6. N8 Says:

I think he’s right… now yeah he is a horrible rapper to me… but i know that the industry will take you and turn you into whatever they want you to be for their purposes… at 18 thats hard to handle…

plus the backlash he’s been getting for his performance on the BET awards and how it was just inappropriate… I’m sure he wanted to come out and let his cousins and close family and real friends and just the niggas in general know… “yeah i know you see me… i’m shuckin and jivin on stage… they got me in black face continually… but aahhhhhhh it aint my fault…lol”

  9. ladiinikki Says:

Man, he needs to take the money & run! Please leave the industry! And why is he complaining about them making him look stupid in front of the media? Why is he mad with the “crackers” now? When Toure interviewed him last year, he gave a shoutout to the slaveowners…SMH

  10. NY.Demeanor Says:

how can this boy say people make him look ignorant when he said (paraphrasing) “shout out to all the slave masters for bringing us here, or else we wouldn’t be able to rock fly chains”

    ….(>_>)

  11. Azania Says:

But was he not the one thanking the slave master for bringing us from Africa so we can get all this “jewelry and tattoos?”

  12. plaidstripes Says:

this boy is basically a teenager, i don’t know why ya’ll are taking him so seriously, sayin he’s cooning and hypocritical, he’s a damn kid and he has alot to learn

  13. Q Says:

normally i can understand when artist are unhappy because they feel that management mess with their music and image etc . but in his case i would say SHUT THE $%#&$* up MAN , i mean for real , your making millions at a very young age by rapping , and the funny thing is you cant even rap for #$%@ , he should just shut his mouth and be happy that he’s able to keep stealing money like that.

  14. Q Says:

  15. Drake Apologies for His R. Kelly Moment and More | The Insanity Report Says:

[...] *sigh* Who lead this boy on into thinking he makes music?  I learned about this story from my girl Miss Jia and she has the whole Soulja Boy Twitter rant.  In case that wasn’t clear, Soulja Boy then did a “Global Grind” exclusive blog [...]

  16. Miss Jayy Says:

souljaboy can’t rap; point blank period. although his songs may be catchy fa a few days or weeks… @ the end of the day, they have no real value. they aren’t real music.
