“He didn’t kill anybody. [Kanye's outburst was] inappropriate at the time. I think it was rude but the way they’re treating him… He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.”–in response to Kanye’s VMA moment

the voice of reason.
Everyone wanted to say “no comment” when Rihanna got her ass whooped but 2 seconds after the incident they were yelling death to Kanye.
Fuckouttahere
LEAVE KANYE ALONE!

True…
it should be non-news by now. Yet EVERYONE is still talking about it.

September 18th, 2009 at 12:27 pm
True… I mean shit, it was funny the first three days… but damn, they still on his dick over that. He apologized to the person he needed to apologize to, so that should really be it. You would think he slapped her in the mouth or somethin’…
-D!

jay is right, he was rude, he knew it, he apologized. the end.
the stunt was funny as hell and all the jokes that came from it, but i dont know why media wants to know other celebs opinions on it.

I might be alone in this…but while the exposure for this incident is overblown, I almost feel like it needs to be overblown in order for Kanye to get the picture that being a Grade A asshat is not cute. I mean yeah he talked all this humility shit after South Park got in his ass (still one of my favorite episodes and Comedy Central re-played it over and over Tuesday night)but he still went on with his arrogance, egotism, and overall nonsensical behavior culminating with that mess Sunday night. If all this negative press helps to take some of that helium out of his head then let the bitching and moaning continue.

Ye messed with a young white woman. Bout time Ms. Knowles and Lil Momma did their thang, it was TOO late! The act had been committed and there is no return ha!

@Funkeyheadhunter…I agree 100%!! Kanye’s cockiness has been outta control for some time now and it needs to be checked! How would anyone of us feel if we had worked hard to gain an opportunity to express/show our God given talent and then receive recognition for it for the first time ever…only for that moment to be stolen from you by a complete azzhole on national TV???

[...] Jay-Z decided to finally speak on the Kanye debacle that has dominated internet chatter since Sunday. Peep game on what he had to say when you click here. [...]

I agree with Funkkeyheadhunter and luv2bme.But I am so over Kanye he is a attention seeker if yall have not noticed already and it is just lame.
September 18th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
I cosign “Funkyheadhunter” 2 the mothaf*cking fullest, and I thank you 4 that! Jay-Z & his worshippers comments had me irritated 4 a sec. but ur comment really came in & saved the day, so again, I thank you
!
Moving on…….I totally get what JZ & his followers are trying 2 say, but as I stated b4,
Kanye does this type of shyt all the time. Yall act as if this is the 1st time he’s showed his a$$ at an awards show. Now Serena, on the other hand, does deserve the benefit of the doubt, because she’s not usually known 4 acting out in public. This is her 1st public tyrade. Ye however, should’ve known better……atleast by now, I mean dayyymmm! Whether yall like Taylor or not, at the end of the day she made history that night. She became the very 1st country music star 2 ever win a VMA AWARD, & her moment was little tarnished, thanks 2 Kanye & his huge ego. So yes, he does deserve the backlash he’s getting. He’s needs 2 feel it & feel it hard! He’s needs 2 realize that this world is much more bigger than Jay-Z, Beyonce’ & his huge ego.

does he feel the same about lil mama? lol
September 19th, 2009 at 12:22 am
Why does everyone want Kanye to learn a lesson? Why does anyone care? I agree with the first post. I ain’t heard sheeet after the rihanna situation but everyone has something to say about kanye? GTFOH. People are even STILL defending CB til the death but Kanye is a BAD BAD man b/c of some off the wall stuff. Please people. If this is the worst thing that can happen to that chick (whose songs I have NEVER EVER heard) then she has it good.
Part of it is that people who already couldn’t stand Kanye now feel some sort of validation. I don’t know Ms. Swift and honestly I don’t care about her or Kanye because they aren’t doing anything for me.
To the person who said he deserved this type of backlash, I wish everyone would have been this hot after rihanna got her ass smashed.
PS – I wouldn’t claim that the VMAs are a legitimate award. It ain’t the grammys.
September 19th, 2009 at 12:32 am
I peeped the whole interview and the problem i personally have is Jay saying “Its an award show, He just has passion” Same time from my understanding he had absolutely no love for Lil Mama’s “passion” when she jumped her ass on stage during his perfomance with Alicia Keys.
Makes me wonder had it been someone snatching the mic from Beyonce saying Taylor Swift had the best vid of all time would he be so understanding.
September 20th, 2009 at 12:47 am
It’s the ROC!!! Ok, now that that’s done. Taylor got harmed, internally. Well, she said it’s cool. She’s not trippin’ too hard about it. Whatever HOV says [regarding Kanye], I can second that motion. However, Kanye’s a rude azz muhhfukka who needs to get whooped. Real Talk.
September 20th, 2009 at 1:01 pm
ooo.. Jigga, this time I have to agree with you. If you look on YOUTUBE they going crazy over this mess!
Pink added her two cents and err body jumpin on the bandwagon.
He did something stupid but damn,. Can we move on??
September 20th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Now that I just read several comments..
Kanye gets it maybe.. lol. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he did something real ego stupid again in his career. Its like he created this mess & now he wants to distance himself from it. But in the end.. HE will be KANYE again. smh
Thats all for me end of subj.

I stand in agreement with Funkyheadhunter, Luvzbne, Brassil and No Thank you. By the way No Thank You, I loved this comment “Jay-Z & his worshippers”. LMAO! Loved it!
