Phylicia Rashad will go down in history as one of the sexiest Black moms on television. She teamed up with Jenny Craig to drop a few lbs and ended up losing 35lbs. A new commercial for the Cosby mom unveils on August 29th and here’s what she had to say:

“The most rewarding thing about reaching my goal weight is that I feel so much lighter. There’s just an overall sense of well-being,” she reveals. “And there’s the increased energy as well too. It’s nice to have people say you look nice. Who knew losing weight could be so much fun?”

Glad she can afford it. I dunno if any of you are familiar with Jenny Craig prices but let’s just say that what they cost per month is more than what most people pay for their mortgage. Anyway, good looks, Mrs. Rashad! You’re still the bomb dot com!

Can’t say I didn’t see this coming. I swear, Dr. Conrad Murray is in for a heap of sh*t!

The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, a finding that makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died on June 25.

Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.

According to the document, Murray said he’d been treating Jackson for insomnia for about six weeks with 50 milligrams of propofol every night via an intravenous drip. But he said he feared Jackson was forming an addiction to the anesthetic, which is normally used in hospitals only, and was attempting to wean his patient by lowering the dose to 25 milligrams and adding the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam.Continue…
