Nene Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta opens up about her stripper past in her new book entitled, Never Make the Same Mistake Twice. During her time as a dancer, she went by the name Silk & now offers insight on why she once tworked the pole:

“Yes, I was a stripper – let the judgments ensue. [I stripped] for the sake of my son, and to restore my confidence in myself,” she explains. “My son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for ­pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out. It was about survival.”

The only thing that I’m a little salty about is that someone else had to say it first. I’m a huge advocate of speaking on YOU before someone else gets a chance to. Nonetheless, I still applaud her for providing information about her past that (technically) she didn’t have to.

*side eye* Well, it looks like sexy a*s Willie of Day 26 is denying that the peen pic shown HERE belongs to him. According to Miss Necole Bitchie, Willie says:

“It is very unfortunate that someone would try to degrade my name by posting a fake photoshop image of myself on the internet holding what is alleged to be my penis. The alleged picture is my face, but the holding the penis part is not.

I am a man that has a family and have a tremendous amount of respect for myself, my son, my group and all of my fans across the world and I would never put them through such a predicament. So, in a nut shell, that picture is not me.”

I’on know you guys. What do YOU think? Obviously the clickable link is NSFW but that sounds like it could be a retraction because the pic leaked in the first place. I have pics from that angle…I know that pose, Willie. Doesn’t look photoshopped to me. But I’ll let you guys call it.

Yesterday, Michael Vick blogged an open letter that included an apology for his f*ck ups with dogs. Well Sanaa Lathan says that we all should just let go and let God about Vick’s situation just as she has (and she’s a dog owner). However, she wants you to know that she forgave him for herself and not just because he apologized.

When I read Michael Vick’s apology letter yesterday, I had mixed emotions. At first I was angry. I had visions of the news reports over a year ago and what he had done to all those dogs. On the other hand, I wanted to believe that he was really sincere, that he’s a changed man, and I was actually happy that he’s back at work. Continue…
