You can find Alicia Keys gracing the latest cover of Marie Claire UK, and the Girl on Fire songstress is looking as fabulous as ever. In the issue, which officially hit stands today, she dishes a bit on her relationship with Swizz Beatz, from the early days to the present.

On her first impression of Swizz:

Swizz will have the fastest car, the biggest jewellery, the loudest jacket; everything with him is really over the top. I used to see him and think, “He is so annoying”.

On what’s she learned from their marriage:

I think we’ve taught each other a lot,’ she says of her husband. ‘He’s taught me to live more fully and I think I’ve taught him to live more deeply.

On writing That’s When I Knew for her hubby:

That’s When I Knew is definitely an ode to my husband… Honestly I didn’t really like him that much. I thought he was too ostentatious.

Rapper turned actor, Ludacris, will be featured in an upcoming issue of People Magazine for Father’s Day. Inside, Karma playfully holds her father up, while he opens up about their bond, and the joys of raising an 11-year-old.

The Fast & Furious 6 star recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about Karma’s educational website, Karma’s World, and how she is finally at the age where she can listen to the clean version of his music.

My daughter is now 11-years-old. She listens to the clean version as of now. We have conversations about everything. She definitely needs to hear it from me first.

After Melissa Lawrence’s daughter was shot in Providence, it’s pretty safe to assume that she wasn’t having the greatest day and wouldn’t be open to an interview. Apparently, the ABC 6 news team didn’t get that memo beforehand.

An ABC6 crew was on assignment in Providence when they were assaulted in broad daylight. It started with a simple question that led to a violent response. The crew was on Public Street in Providence, attempting to get reaction from the mother of the teenage girl who was shot at a graduation party over the weekend.

Instead of declining to speak on-camera, Melissa Lawrence replied “OK, that’s good,” and then suddenly hurled a rock at ABC6 photographer Marc Jackson. The rock just missed the photographer’s head. The crew then started to leave, but Lawrence came out wielding a baseball bat. She then told her two dogs to attack.

Lawrence has been charged with assault for the incident.
