Omarion: “I ASKED to be Released from Young Money”
Earlier, I reported that Omarion had been dropped from the Young Money label. Turns out (according to him), he ASKED to be released from the label. No real explanation was provided. Smells like bullsh*t but whatever. Good luck, O!

How do you get dropped twice in a year, oops I mean “released?” Like come on…obviously something is wrong, ecspecially one label you didn’t even release anything lol.

This is probably what went down….either they tried to drop him and he said “im leavin / i quit”. or they gave him a proposition “either u leave, or we make u”. Aint nobody goin willingly go if they arent being forced. Fool you JUST got signed lol yeah right

smh @ Omarion..this nigg swears..lol..his ass got the boot cuz he leaked shit out..leaker = snitch..look at this way..he leakin songs..but his album didnt even have a release date..he forcin them to give him the OK..for his album..so what better way !?..anyway..u loose x 2 “O”..lol take a LONG vacation..cuz this has been a very bad year for u.. “omarions career done left along with his hair”

Let me get somethings straight. Omarion has been signed to Young Money for a few months now (not that that is any better). I know that with Bow Wow’s self imposed announcement of his merge to Cash Money, everybody then recognized that Omarion had “just been signed too”. Omarion isnt the overly outspoken person Bow is.. But he was signed earlier this year.
Sorry that was just buggin me having people think that he’d only been signed for like two days.
And i dont understand why he was “released” or “dropped” or whatever. He is at least 5X better than Bow will ever be. And i think that Omari made a good fit into Young Money, instead of all the rappers with styles close to Weezys (minus Drake), it would have been nice to have a good R and B artist.
But money is money. I wish good luck to O.
