Jordin Sparks Is Against Texting While Driving
Jordin Sparks, pictured here with her beautiful mother, Jodi, has publicly pledged with her thumbprint not to text and drive, kicking off the national “X the TXT” tour sponsored by Allstate Insurance at the Shoreham Hotel in New York. On some real sh*t, how many of you text message (and this DOES include Twitter) while driving? Even after seeing THIS video, I can say with honesty that I still have a bad habit of keeping my eye on my cell moreso than I do the road. I’ve had instances where I was texting/typing so much that when I arrived home safely, I wondered how I got there in the first place. It’s serious business, folks. Let’s all make an effort to try and do better.

Girl, I had to catch myself doing this as well. It's so hard sometimes to not be on the phone at all when you are in the car, but I have definitely scaled back on that.

I don't text & drive. Shoot, where I'm at, it's a state law that you can't text while driving & the police will fine you $500 if they catch you doing it.

i need to try really hard to stop this, as well. my mother is constantly on my ass about it because she's pulled up next to me and traffic and seen me doing it, and has talked about it nonstop ever since. there have been a few times i had to slam on brakes to keep from hitting the person in front of me while approaching a red light because i was texting. =/

I HAVE TEXTED/FACEBOOK AND DIRVED…1 TIME I VEERED OFF THE ROAD IN THE COUNTRY
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS BUT ITS A BAD HABIT…NEXT WEEK IS TURKEY DAY AND THE HUBBY WILL DRIVE SO I CAN DO BOTH!!!! ONLY DO IT WHEN UR IN THE PASSENGER SEAT GUYS!! WORD FOR THE WISE

it's against the law in the state of tennessee to text while driving, too, but ppl still do it… & i am one of those guilty ppl.
