They Always Get the Ghetto One…

Alright, so the story out of Hunstville, Alabama is that an intruder broke in a woman’s house and attacked her while she was asleep. The woman fought him off but he escaped out of a window, leaving behind fingerprints and a t-shirt as evidence. Now, the story itself is, obviously, unfortunate…but what’s even more unfortunate is the cousin that they allowed on television to speak for the family. Lawd, I weep daily for our people. I do. Shout out to Nina for the link!

  13. @Princess0889 Says:

    Oh my LMAO *flatlined*________________________

  14. bknyc Says:

Damn. Now you know the news station could have edited that out. His commentary while funny, really wasn't necessary atleast in terms of making it to the airwaves. Damn "we can do better"

  15. La'Quasha Says:

by "they" i'm assuming you mean the oppressor aka the man aka whites. they always do this ish (especially on folks)…subliminally trying to denigrate our race by selecting the worst and omitting the best. it was NOT necessary to the story to show so many clips of Cousin Buckwheat but they did it on purpose knowing how much of a disgrace he is. Notice that Becky azz reporter keeping a straight face but you know they were laughing at him (and US) once the camera was turned off.

I'll work with a white person, say hello to them at church but I will NEVER trust them.

  16. @dinastyinc Says:

You know they couldn't wait to get this footage back to the station.
As White folk sat around and all had a laugh at our expense. . . . . . .yet again.

Funny as it was, and it made my eyes go O.O, *throws glitta*, the incident happened to her. Why did they show more clips of him?

As they didn't even care enough to put together a sketch of the rapist's face, to help warn all the wives, children, and husbands out there of what to look for. Because apparently it's not importan that "they snatchin' people up out hea".

  17. Whisperer Says:

Antoine and his cousin have just added themselves to the list of reasons I didn't get that job….Dayum

  18. @lolamarya Says:

    WOW….. Why?

  19. Marty Says:

He really did not just start with "WELLST."

I didn't even know that was a word.

  20. brooklynfly Says:

Look they were wrong for showing it.

But he was MORE wrong for being on the TV like that. No one forced him to go on tv and no one sure as hell forced him to go on and on like that. I'm not excusing the role the media plays in this but really the media has never given black people fair coverage, why would they start now. Back in the day black people would be killed by the dozens and the media would come out saying it was our fault. Poor people or people on drus are almost always represented as black people, though we know that isn't the truth.

Responsibility is a two-way street and the sooner we stop depending on them to make us look better and actually do it ourselves, the better. I don't have much blame left in me for other people, WEneed to get it together.

  21. Tim Says:

My Skittles sensor went off… I taste the rainbow with a kick of Black n Mild. I can't do it today. *grand exits to the left and watches Cosby show to remind me how prominent Black folks are*

  22. Ladykins Says:

NNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Why lord????!!!!! WHY???!!!!!!! I can't!!!!!! *Throws laptop*

  23. bknyc Says:

^Word my sis…I was gonna say it before but I have to look at that news station sideways for their decision to not edit that out. It contributed NOTHING in terms of information. It was just a showcase of coonery.

  24. Lori Says:

LMAO!!!! OMG I was thinking the same thing.

  25. @80sBetch Says:

    O_O *hangsheadinshame* smh

  26. Ms Puddin Says:

  27. Ms Puddin Says:

    Smh

  28. Brandy,IDntBlogH8 Says:

Who gave this FOOL the mic?!

The whole video was "STR8 BOOTY!" Even the victim seemed a lil' off.

Well, I guess the ONE positive thing is that at least the White folks (news & police) were concerned enuf to do an investigation AND report on a crime in the PROJECTS b/c they usually dnt give a fvck.

  29. Twin Says:

LMAO I keep watching this video over and over…

  30. Ladykins Says:

LOL! Me too! I know I've watched it at least 7 times and my laughter gets increasingly louder!

  31. Allergic 2 B.S. Says:

    COSIGN!!!!!!!

  32. @awesometragedy Says:

"Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, and hide ya husband cuz dey rapin eh body out hea." I DIED.

  33. Allergic 2 B.S. Says:

    I 3rd that! 2 be honest, I lost count!

  34. tehBlah Says:

This…can't be real. It can't. I downright to refuse to believe it lmao.

  35. Nerdgirl Says:

I see the guilty humor in these victims doing all this extra stuff but it's hard to laugh when they are being exploited and the newscaster saying the man that tried to rape the lady was ''Visiting." So, no, they still don't care. This is just another tactic: Find a serious story, find some ignorant black people, pull out a camera, and let the moronic idiocrasy unfold. It's like reverse psychology, they go to black neighborhoods and 'investigate' serious stories and then they choose people that are going to say dumb things and act simpleminded and outrageous to put on t.v.

  36. Allergic 2 B.S. Says:

At the end of the day, what happened 2 her IS what's important, & I'm sorry she went
through that….I couldn't imagine going through that myself. Now, with all due respect &
that^ aside…….Her brother…….Lord Have Mercy, that was eye popping, head shaking &
funny as hell. Like I said b4, I've lost count of how many times I've watched, & I haven't
even shown my family this….YET! Miss THAAAAAAANG is 2 much, & I bet when his
"interview" was broadcasted, he was probably beside himself….
"Yeah b*tches, I'm on t.v, AND WHAT!!!!!!!" Not 2 say that he doesn't care about his sister,
I'm just saying he seems like the type. And as far as the "media" making us look bad on
t.v. That's bogus, 2 me. They're the 1's getting on camera, acting a fool. All the "media"
did was press record. Like brooklynfly stated, "It goes both ways."

  37. Brandy,IDntBlogH8 Says:

I watched it again b/c I couldnt believe what I was seeing or hearing. Im almost speechless!

  38. shyydiva Says:

i just moved to huntsville-trust me wellst is a word down here shawty….the whole thing is a hot mess…wheredeydodatat?=huntsville alabama

  39. makedakaluwa Says:

I was rollin when I seen that crazy ass shit!

  40. bknyc Says:

I get that part of the statement. But I'm saying from the journalistic side there was no reason to air that much of what the cousin had to say because it really didn't give much info or insight into what happened. The public didn't need to see that in order to get a sense of what took place

  41. Well Damn... Says:

    LMAO
    Dude was so serious!
    Animated as hell.
Not to mention, the house is trifling.
    BLACK AMERICA!

"Some IDIOT from out here in the projects tried to rape me!"

  42. yaaaas! Says:

I have gotten sooo much life from this video

  43. Dana Davenport Says:

What would Uncle Ruckus say about these Negroes?

    LOL Lawd!

  44. @hrsparks Says:

I mean the brother had a very matter of fact look on his face with that rag that wasn't covering shit! WHY WHY WHY must my people be like this? Did you notice how the news reporter was stuttering in the beginning? There was just too much going on in this video. *long sigh*

  45. rae Says:

Although funny, his remarks were not needed. I'm a journalism major and nothing he said added substance to the story…therefore it was not needed. The news people did this on purpose and the editor needs to be fired. But, this was in Alabama so I guess anything goes when it comes to black people?

  46. sincerelyLJ Says:

exactly…'he tried to pull my pants down and rape me."
    come on now…

  47. Honycoatd Says:

This chile boo is not on point. He forgot his make- up bag from the dream. #noshade.

  48. destiny Says:

LMFAO!!! "NOW U CAN RUN TELL DAT, HOMEBOI!"

  49. @daseekah Says:

Aint this some sh8. He ghetto as hell. My black folk smh. Get it together.

  50. bknyc Says:

Thanks rae, thats the point I was trying to make. I'm not journalism major but that video left me with questions. Generally, they interview people with pertinent important information that they would like to get out. They want eye witnesses who can explain what happened. Ol dude's mouth was running but he ain't said shit when it comes to substantive info. Thats why I said initially that he shouldn't have made it to air. He should have been edited out and the victim's statements should have been left since it happened to her.

  51. @lovely_els Says:

i was scared to push the play button for a minute…
that freeze frame of antoine is just too much!

  52. miss c Says:

all i have to say is y lord y?! im from alabama and the only time we are on the news it's either a 1st 48 episode or something else bad. i must say though that was my laugh of the day. and the girl really wasnt any better.

  53. @dinastyinc Says:

    YES! Exactly the point.

  54. nellboogie Says:

    I agree!!!

  55. kay Says:

    Khia is that you baby???

  56. avant garde? Says:

Should I be laughing or crying?

  57. MsGodiva Says:

    BWAHAHAHAHA________________*DEAD* -_-

  58. Ella Barre Says:

Why didn’t the investigator have on gloves? For all we know he is documenting his own fingerprints. He looked like he did not want to be doing his job in the video.

  59. angela Says:

he got more camera time than his sister, and she was the one violated.
*you aint got to confess, cuz we gon find you*

  60. @SitchoAzzDown Says:

are u fukkin serious? is thata real story? we all know this shiit is mad ghetto, and i would never imagine this hilarious fukkery ont he tv.

  61. Mark Says:
