Fashion Forward/Fashion Pause: Kelis
Kelis was spotted out at LAX looking comfortable while pushing baby Knight in a stroller. I really want to love Kelis’ whole look sometimes…trust me. But I’m not digging the hair. I remember the days just after Kaleidoscope but a bit before now, Kelis’, IMO, was fashion chic. Everything from her hair to her clothes to even her choices in makeup went well together. Now? Eh…So, generally speaking, folks…Is Kelis:
PS: I know that she’s just at the airport, so being comfortable is a bit more important than style. I’m speaking on general terms. What are your thoughts on Kelis and her fashion?

She neer really did have good fashion. She was always kinda off. I always wondered why Nas wanted.

At first glance, she looked like somebody's grandmother. Looking old and just tore the hell down, like she's had a hard life. (And you know what I mean by "hard life".)
So FASHION PAUSE!
Say what you want, but Kelis has always had her own style, and I kinda dugg it (with an occasional miss in there). I liked wild, frizzy hair Kelis screaming "I hate you so much right now!" I also liked straightened out, curled hair Kelis in "Get Along With You." Her ability to switch it up and still make it look funky is what I like.

Uhh. Amen!! I agree completely. Her style has always been CONFUSION. There are times when she looks good but then she comes back off in a big way. She is a WILD CARD in my opinion. And I looked at Nas wondering what was up also. lol.
