Dear Joe Jackson

Dear Joe Jackson,
Before I even fix my mouth to dedicate this strongly worded letter to you, let me say that I am deeply saddened by the death of your legendary son, Michael Jackson, and my heart goes out to you and your family during this time of grief.

Now, let’s talk. I know that everybody grieves differently and one man can not tell the other how to handle their grief. Although I’m certain MJ wouldn’t want you and the family to sit around moping over him, I find it a bit off that, during your walk on the red carpet, you made mention of your new label, as though that bullsh*t trumps anything related to your son. In case old age has kicked in and you don’t remember…

Your a*s is so smug, arrogant and self-centered that:
1. you would not even face the camera to talk about your own son
2. you rudely ignored the reporter as he was asking you poignant questions that could’ve POSSIBLY helped people see you in a semi-decent light and
3. you plug your record label, calling it a ‘good thing’ as though anything related to your son is something less than.

I remember thinking years ago that Michael and the rest of your children were bogus for the way they talked about your tyrannic ways. But the fact that Michael even left you out of his WILL speaks volumes on the type of man you really are. You’re an absolute disgrace to the human race and I loathe the fact that you’re still allowed to BREATHE while a legend lay dead. Many of the ‘issues’ that many claimed MJ had could easily be related back to you. I was taught to respect my elders but it’s hard to respect anyone who uses the death of their own child (much like BET) to promote their own bullsh*t. You’re an opportunist at best and it’s no surprise that you were seen laughing it up with Jesse Jackson b/c he (along with Al Sharp-perm) INVENTED publicity whoring & opportunistic ways so blatant, Stevie Wonder could point it out.

I don’t understand how you live with yourself…but hey, if you like it, I love it. Just know that the people on this side of the e-world think that you ain’t sh*t.

Love,

Miss Jia

  2. Jazmine Says:

I’ve said it about three times tonight (twice on Twitter) – someone needs to Jackie Chan him right in his fuckin’ dentures. His son hasn’t been dead a full week, isn’t even in the ground yet, and this bulldog lookin’ ass ninja has the gall to promote his record label, as if we give a fuck!

People like him literally make my blood BOIL. I have 0 doubt he was responsible for much of M.J.’s mental distress in life, M.J. said himself the mere site of his father used to make him vomit. If that ain’t saying it all, I don’t know what is.

    Fuck Joe Jackson.

  3. Curvycutiepie05 Says:

Amen girl, I couldn’t have said it better!

  4. Quinton Says:

  5. ms_micia Says:

Ur right he is a disgrace. and as michael’s spirit continues to live on…his will die old and alone and with just as much hate and disgrace as he came in with. I try not to hate but i severly dislike him.

  6. Connie Says:

Wow that was a trip! Was he drunk?

  7. Joja86 Says:

POW! Now can we get a BET letter? I’m writing one now but yeah… they’ll probably delete seeing how long it is

  8. Shayizreal Says:

wtf this arrogant ass muthafucka didnt even have the respect to say how the family was holding up. This high arched eye-brow muthafucka had the nerve to tell his publicist to read a statement from him n the family. This muthafucka makes my ass pucker. I see y Michael and the rest of the Jackson children didnt like his ass. ugh this is bullshit. Michael should come back in spirit n whoop his ass n see how he would turn out n a few years…this ungrateful sum-um-ma-bitch

  9. J'Wan Yvette Says:

LET THE CHURCH SAY “AMEN!” I couldn’t have said it better myself!!!

  10. Imani Sankofa Says:

Amen! Ditto on everything you said.

  11. DANJ! Says:

    I couldn’t believe that bullshit.

And wow, never knew Michael left him outta the will. But this shit exemplifies EXACTLY why. And the family doesn’t fuck with him like that either- that’s why Janet got away from him and succeeded without him and that’s why the brothers fired him as their manager… cause despite the fact he raised them and made them the talents they were, he ain’t shit.

But I guess Ranch Records was just that important.

  12. Spligtown618 Says:

this mutha fucka here…smh what a disgrace

  13. DANJ! Says:

^^^reminds me of somethin’ Sister Odell would say… “here come this sorry muthafucka here…”

  14. Vaun Says:

  15. ladiinikki Says:

When I saw this on CNN and how they were discussing and analyzing why exactly this fool was plugging in his record label NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE (frankly, once was too many times), for some reason, I just felt so embarrassed…And of course, Jesse & Al just stand there like it isn’t a problem…Just ignorant! Maybe I was embarrassed b/c of not only Joe’s plug, but also b/c of BET’s ignorance too. Just too much ignorance going on & my tolerance for it is very, very low.

  16. Tasha31 Says:

Dido to all that’s been said-

Wow, he should be ashamed of himself. And how many times did the reporter have to ask how the family was doing before getting a “straight” answer? How sad, then the publicist read a letter on the family’s behalf and to top it off, he plugs his label. Um, your like 102 years old, your not a Charlie Wilson or even an O Jay so give it Up! What a disgrace. And I wish Al Sharpton would just stay the hell out of it. Where ever there are cameras and the media, he’s all in it! Have some respect people!

It’s understandable why the family disassociated themselves plain ignorance at it’s finest!

Michael rest in peace sweet heart!

  17. Apple Says:

    *stands up & applauds*

    this man makes me SICK.

  18. N8 Says:

real talk… thats a slick lil africa chain around his neck.. specially if its real… the gold, diamonds and onyx thats in it..

but yeah thats a DUFUS .. the word had to be brought back for this guy…

I think i’m mad that in his statement it “officially” says that his lawyer has the only legal right to speak for the Jackson Family… really… cause thats a big ass family… that 2300 Jackson St. had like 1000 negros in it

  19. Wild Safari Says:

Co-sign on this letter and your outrage. I’m telling everyone who will listen to me Joe is responsible for all the madness in that family. ALL those Jackson kids have issues; they stem from the way he terrorized that household.

  20. LadyS Says:

Sad. He is an opportunist, knowing damn well he is too old to own a record label. Shame on him.

  21. Talia Says:

I’m so glad u said what most of us r thinking! This man is the personification of an asshole. This bastard mentally scarred his son up from childhood 2 adulthood. Then when asked about the loss of his son, he’s talkin abt a damn record label no1 cares abt…and no doubt funded on the back of his dead son’s name!

He’s a cretin and needs 2 fall down a canyon or some shit real soon

  22. Renee Says:

He gave me the creeps watching him do his little interview. He seems so cold, and unaffected over his son’s death. It would not have been any good for him to put on a fake act of caring either, so he should have just stayed at home, but wait that wouldn’t work, he has a record label to promote, my bad. And I agree, most if not all of MJ’s issues stem back to Joe’s abusive ways. Physical is one thing, but emotional and mental abuse, especially done to a child is a whole different story. How he could tell his young child he was ugly and talk about his nose and all the other mean things he said is beyond me. R.I.P. Michael

  23. iolastar Says:

Preach! I wanted to smack the hell out him!

  24. Lauren Says:

    He’s disgusting.

  25. Ziwi Says:

I’m not even going to focus on Joe Jackson or Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. I wonder how the reporter feels as a black man, interviewing the father of who is the most amazing entertainer in history. I know as a reporter you’re supposed to be kind of unbiased but I give the reporter kudos because I don’t think I could have the patience to try to remain as professional as he did. I could tell from the look on his face that he seemed exasperated and even from the way he repeated himself as if he was frustrated. Power to him and MJ. Lord, rest his soul.

  26. yasmine Says:

omg jia i L0VE you for being soooo true. :)
he needs to be knocked off his high horse.

  27. Linda Says:

You go, girl. You’re far kinder than I would have been. This man is a foul, evil, opportunistic asshole. I wonder if he even shed one small, miniscule tear over the death of his son. I seriously doubt it.

The idea of him getting his greedy filthy hands on MJ’s kids and pimping them out makes me absolutely ill. I hope like hell the rest of the family does everything in their power to keep this greedy asshole away from them. MJ’s rolling in his (yet to be determined) grave.

    And the man suffered enough.

Thanks for letting me add my share. Rock on. L
