DC Sniper, John Allen Muhammad, Executed

This photo is a FAR cry from the one in the inset. I remember when all the “sniping” (is that the correct word?) went down, a LOT of women were talking about how attractive John Allen Muhammad was. He was executed at 9:11pm and his last meal was allegedly fried chicken & hot sauce.

“Virginia’s governor refused to spare the life of John Allen Muhammad and cleared the way for his execution Tuesday night for the 2002 sniper attacks that left 10 dead and spread such fear that people were reluctant to go shopping, cut grass or pump gas. The three-week killing spree in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., was carried out with a teenage accomplice who is serving life in prison without parole. Muhammad, 48, was to die by injection after he exhausted his court appeals and Gov. Tim Kaine denied clemency.”

Mmmm, oh well. I may be the only one here, and you can call me what you want for sayin this, but I am ALL for Capital Punishment.
See stealing and things of that nature are one thing, but killing another human being in cold blood is absolutely another. With the exception of self defense or neglegence, I think all murder should carry a death sentence. If these people dont value another person's life then why should theirs be of any value?
Some of the horror stories I see reported on the news frightens me. Its almost as if people have lost their minds. They don't care anymore. Do whatever it is they feel like, go home and sleep soundly.

The hell with that. The bible done set this system up a long time ago; an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. It was good enough for them, it'll be good enough for us. Let's see how "radical" or "gangsta' you really are when you know they gone be electricutinq that ass!

I feel like no one wins in these type of situations. His family has lost a loved one, the victim families lost their loved one. What does execution solve? It doesn't solve anything. I know what he and Lee did was wrong. Hell, they executed that ass real fast. I guess it must have been a federal crime like Tim McVeigh because he was executed fast also. I hope he made amends with God.

supposedly he didn't accept any offers for spiritual counseling at "the end". but anyway, no it doesn't bring back the victims, but it keeps us tax-payers from having to spend our hard-earned money supporting his ass for the rest of his life while he soaks up AC, heat, 3 meals a day and probably some cable television every now and then. fuck that shit. the victims don't get that, he shouldn't either. he has a debt to pay to society.. he shouldn't be taken care of BY society, being given more than he probably even had before.

I guess I would be for it if I thought it actually served as a deterrent. In the past week there has been 3 instances nationally where gunman have walked into places randomly shooting people. That is crazy as hell.

I'm not really for capital punishment. To me it would be better for ppl to sit in jail for the rest of their lives and think about their crimes, served 2 meals a day and sent to fight the wars our young men and women are dying in….we're losing the wrong ones. I understand why some believe that allowing some ppl to sit in jail would be giving them luxury, so that's why I say send them to the battle field….having to dodge getting killed will insure suffering and it will make them think about thinking before taking action and respecting thy own and others lives. Plus, I don't to much agree with how capital punishment is distributed. A man waiting 2 years will get killed before a guy waiting 13 years…..excuse me???? Kill me fast, not slow! In the end, there's so many fucked up ppl in this world, that I truly believe that humans are just flawed. We can kill all the muthaphuckas we want, but it won't stop the bad ppl from emerging. So, who do we blame???? Does our society create these criminals? Can we really determine who's going to be a criminal? Do we really have control of our actions???? I say, no brain has it all; therefore we all just f*cked up! Some of us are here as examples of how human beings can go wrong….possibly?? For some of us, our inside criminal nature shows more, then our moralistic. Again, who do we blame??? IDK. His actions were horrible, but I will still R.I.P him. It ain't my job to be determining who should live and who should die…..It's my job to work to fulfill my earthly mission and make it the promise land. Good Luck to all!

Note: I ain't religious like that…..these are just my feelings. I totally understand why ppl want criminals dead. I personally wouldn't want anybodies blood on my hand whether literally or not. I just feel like what we call punishment ain't no real punishment for those that need to be punished. I know that the men and women who pull the switches for electric chairs and shoot criminals up the vain's like we do animals….carry some type of shit with them. How can you not? (It's wrapped up in denial) I'd be scared a nigga might haunt my ass. I don't see how they do it.
