Why would you want to bleach your skin? Are you not proud to embrace your chocolate exterior? You've been blessed w/ this, and you choose to undermine the creator for your own personal reasons? Honey, you're entitled to do as you choose, but messing with something that's been set aside for you is plain craziness. I hope he changes his mind.
And the fact he said, "I'm not being racist" is complex. He evidently has some issues w/ his own appearance, but I don' think it's racist.

This whole situation is really disheartening and disappointing to me. I'm Dominican and in the Dominican Republic like other places it is unattractive to have darker skin. I am a dark skin Dominican and when I go home I get called Morena, Chocolate, and Moya. Dark skinned Dominicans are treated horribly compared to our lighter counterparts. You would think that with the platform that Sammy Sosa, has he would encourage those in our country to accept our complexion but instead he does the opposite. Keep drinking that Koolaid, vendido SMH….

I am calling a spade a spade.. It is so funny how we will strip our heritage for fitting in we compromise and all other types of stuff this is crazy. I love Dominican men I love any man that is considered a minority. But what I will say is at some point and time someone needs to sit down and have a heart to heart with him and Lil Kim and all the others that are just allowing this to happen. This is so SICK. I bet there are tons of people with darker skin that want to know what product he used (For some reason I'm thinking of those black chicks and that dude on Tyra who want to be white). Black is so beautiful, but unfortunately many shit on it like it's the worse thing to be. Dominicans, Creoles, etc would rather be called anything but black.
