It was a damn joke… relax. people are entitled to believe whatever they want about the person who leads their religion. If he wants to believe Jesus was gay, he can do that. Just like some people like to believe Jesus is white, and some people like to believe God is a woman. We'll all find out what Jesus is and what he likes when we see him face to face. Until then… I will continue believing what I want to.
And furthermore… the claim that Jesus & Mary Magdalene was married is not unjust… if you would like to see for yourself how others claim it as well… there is a little something called Google.com. USE IT AND ABUSE IT. Thank you.

I find nothing wrong with what he said. People are so afraid to think outside of what we are trained to believe about God. Create your own philosophy and find your own truth. How can people say "he is going to hell" for having his own personal perception about God? He is entitled to have that just like you are. People make God sound so egotistic sometimes! You wouldn't want people criticizing you about your faith so don't criticize his! As long as he is not spreading hate or evil I don't see the big issue with his statement!~God bless

I think Jesus was a lot of things to a lot of people, we really don't know what he was when it comes to sexual orientation, I think he was a lover of ALL mankind, a compassionate being who did die for us. He didn't condemn the gay person. I think He had heart big enough for ALL walks of life. I love his style HE was the true Hippee. He was SO COOL. And I think Elton John is amazing, he sees Jesus in a light that is refreshing, I wish everyone would take Jesus out of the box they put him in, Just like Elton did. Way to go friend, I LOVE you!!!!! I wouldn't take it in those terms, but I understand what he's saying. The whole he was wanted us to "caring" attitude, and the people are just "cruel" statement (I definitely agree to that), but as a homosexual? Probably not.
I do think he was BLACK though, AND had some human characteristics, which some people don't want to accept.
