Naomi Campbell surely knows who to throw Blackberries at, smack and throw temper tantrums with b/c if she tried that on a hood chick, she’d definitely get her ass handed to her. She needs to check into a permanent anger management class, STAT!
The supermodel Naomi Campbell, who has twice pleaded guilty to assault charges in the last three years, hit her driver on Tuesday as he drove through Midtown, the police said. She then ran away after the driver pulled over, they said.
The driver had a small bruise under his eye from hitting the steering wheel after Ms. Campbell struck him, the police said.
As of Tuesday evening, investigators had not found Ms. Campbell to question her about the midday episode, which happened at the intersection of Second Avenue and 58th Street, the police said. No charges have been filed.
…until March 2nd for DENTAL Surgery! I can bet that if this was Junebug living in the ‘jects, he’d be locked up by now! No Free Weezy tees will be sold on MissJia.com, FYI!
Lil Wayne’s sentencing has been delayed until March 2 due to dental surgery, his attorney announced in a Manhattan courtroom Tuesday (February 9).
The rapper was scheduled to be formally sentenced by a judge and begin serving his one-year term stemming from a 2007 arrest that resulted in a guilty plea in October for attempted weapons possession.
The Cash Money MC arrived shortly after 2 p.m. with his label heads Birdman and Slim. He quietly entered the courtroom as photographers snapped pictures from the hallway. Wayne wore a navy coat and black-framed glasses, and he sat still while his lawyer Stacey Richman spoke.
She informed the judge that she sent a notification to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office that the rapper is suffering from a cracked tooth and would need to postpone his sentence. The judge agreed and ruled to reschedule for March 2.
The rapper is set to undergo surgery February 12 in Miami, according to Richman. He will need a week to 10 days to recover. His defense offered prosecutors February 25 as a date for Wayne to turn himself him in after surgery, but Judge Charles H. Solomon instead selected March 2.
The judge then warned Wayne that he must return to Miami on Tuesday. Solomon insisted if he leaves tomorrow, there would be a chance his surgery would be delayed due to hazardous weather conditions leaving New York.
“I don’t want this to get pushed back anymore,” Solomon said. “This is the last adjournment.”
TMZ Reports: We’re told the L.A. City Fire Department received a 911 call around 2:15 PM PST today from Danger’s complex. When cops arrived, the fire had already been extinguished—but arson investigators were called to the scene.
After checking out the situation, authorities decided to detain Danger –whose real name is Monica Leon — pending further investigation.
UPDATE: Sources say Danger is currently under a 72-hour watch.
Someone must’ve sent out a memo saying that domestic violence and beating the brakes off your loved ones was the move for this era because it seems that everybody is doing it. According to TMZ, former B2K member, J Boog, was arrested for domestic violence at his L.A. home on Sunday. Law enforcement sources say that Boog was arrested late afternoon for “corporal punishment on a spouse” as well as for outstanding warrants relating to an allegedly bad driving record.
Neighbors also reported that they heard screaming in the house earlier in the day and when cops finally showed up, they rolled deep with 6 or 7 squad cars.
Uh, quick question…what in the hell is corporal punishment as it pertains to baby mamas? And what do I have to do to ensure that this sh*t NEVER happens to me!? Sheesh!
America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC) judge, Shane Sparks, has been arrested on charges of 9 counts of child molestation. According to TMZ, Sparks faces 4 counts of lewd conduct with a minor UNDER 14 years of age, 2 counts of sexual intercourse with a 14 or 15 year old and 2 counts of oral copulation with a 14 or 15 year old (that doesn’t add up to 9…but who’s counting?). All the charges focus around one victim and the alleged crimes occurred between the years of 1994 and 1997.
Now here’s the open discussion. I received numerous emails regarding these allegations while I was away from my computer. There seems to have been a LOT of confusion regarding what it was exactly that he was charged with and the ages of the victim. I was initially told via email that the victim was DEFINITELY 10 years old, then later told that she was victimized by Sparks at the ages of 14 and 15. After hearing that, I made a comment stating that, even though I DO NOT support Sparks in any way (I didn’t even know the guys name because I don’t watch ABDC), nor am I ignorant of the law, I DID know what I was doing when I was 14 and 15 years old. I am not blaming the victim, nor am I referring to her as a fast ass chick as I’ve read before (re: the R. Kelly fiasco).
My question to you is…even though it’s the law that a person over the age of 18 is not suppose to have sexual contact with anyone UNDER the age of 18, do you feel that we tend to be more lenient towards a person who is convicted because a 14, 15 or 16 year old is considered to be of sound mind? Granted, they may not be as mature as someone over the age of 18 but they do understand what “yes” and “no” means.
Again, I am NOT siding with Sparks and I’m absolutely NOT posting this in opposition of the victim. I’d just like your feedback.
Rapper Lil Wayne was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas on Friday after authorities found marijuana on two of his tour buses.
The marijuana on the buses was detected by a drug dog, said Agent Joe Trevino. The rapper, whose real name is DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr., was among a dozen being detained from his group. They were later released.
Trevino said the buses were en route to Laredo, Texas, from a concert stop in Hidalgo.
The case has been referred to the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office. Calls to Carter’s representatives were not immediately returned Friday.
The Louisiana native was the 2008 best-selling artist, with 2.8 million records sold, and is signed to Cash Money Records. The rapper is scheduled to begin a prison sentence in February stemming from gun charges in New York.
Unless you were living under a rock for the larger part of today, I’m sure you’ve heard about balloon boy. Long story chopped down, The Henne family were building a helium balloon and believed that their 6 year old climbed into one of the compartments of the balloon. Everybody watched live streams and newsfeeds, waiting to see the fate of the boy who was allegedly in the balloon and ‘hoped’ all would end well. After a couple minutes of watching the balloon sway back and forth at ridiculous speeds, the balloon finally descended. But when medical and police officials got to the scene, no one was inside and they assumed that the child had possibly took a tumble while the balloon was midair.
Well I go to take a dayum nap and wake up to find that the little boy was hiding in a cardboard box and, according to the parents, did so because he feared that he would be scolded. And here’s where the video comes in. I have absolutely NO words but I will say that these parents need to be charged to the fullest extent of the law. Talk about being put on BLAST!
The attention whorism of this mess should come as no surprise, as the family has appeared on ABC’s Wife Swap and the father has tried to submit video of his ’scientific theories’ to major news outlets on several occasions.
$5 says they won’t get in an ounce of trouble for this sh*t…
Either this brotha isn’t getting any sleep these past few days or he’s on the verge of tears in every single photo we’ve seen of him since the incident where he brutally beat AJ, who is the ex-fiance of RHOA star, Kandi Burress. TMZ has the latest:
TMZ has learned the ex-fiance of “Housewives” star Kandi Burruss was walking and talking after the fight that may have led to his death.
Initial reports made it seem like Ashley “A.J.” Jewell was left for dead after the fight — which occurred outside of a strip club in Atlanta on Friday night — but law enforcement sources tell us this wasn’t the case.
Our sources say witnesses told authorities A.J. was walking and talking after the fight — and he didn’t even take an ambulance to the hospital, instead hitching a ride with one of his friends.
Meanwhile, suspect Fredrick Richardson is being held without bail and has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office tells us A.J.’s body showed evidence of a physical altercation — and they’re trying to determine the extent of those injuries while also looking to see if there “was another cause of death.”
The M.E.’s Office also says contrary to other reports, there were no stab wounds found on Jewell’s body.
