A couple nights ago, I sat down to watch the show, Intervention, after being informed by a few people that I’d definitely want to see this episode. This particular episode was about Robby Pardlo, who is 1/3 of the now defunct group, City High. City High was a group that was signed to Wyclef Jean’s label where they achieved moderate success with songs like What Would You Do and Caramel. During the episode, Robby also talked about a romantic relationship that he had with female group member, Claudette Ortiz, and how she eventually broke his heart by linking up with third member and Sister Act 2 star, Ryan Toby (click HERE for a pic of the two).
There were a ton of “ah-ha, so-thats-how-it-happened” moments during this episode but props to him for not only sharing his struggle with alcoholism but also for calling out Ryan & Claudette on their hosh*t. There’s so much to tell about miss lady but I’ll be nice! Peep the episode and let me know what you think!

…I sure do hope so! Donell Jones has such a romantic but “lets-have-some-make-up-sex” type voices. I still pump Where I Wanna Be like it JUST came out a few days ago!
I look forward to this new project! What are your thoughts on Donnell? Let me know in the comments!!
Edit: Several of you were curious as to how to reach out to Donell. Good news is that his new album, The Lost Files, is available on Amazon and Itunes!

The OH so talented, Lauryn Hill, was spotted performing out in New Zealand for the Raggamuffin 2010 Festival! Goodness, I’m having heart palpitations because Miss Boogie did some thangs to me during my freshman year of college. The whole Miseducation album was the bomb dot com! L-Boogie? We need you, lady! Come back, Ay-Ess-Ay-Pee!!

Former G-Unit front chick, Olivia, dolled it up for City Scenes Magazine, rocking a new ‘do. She looks really cute in these photos and I’m loving the new look! Hopefully we’ll hear some new (solid) material from her! Post your thoughts on the photos!

On Friday, several 90s stars came together for a concert in Atlanta called Blast from the Past. I was going to check it out with a friend but once I heard that they’d been selling tickets for almost a month, I had to pass. I can’t stand being seated far away.
But that’s neither here nor there. The first few seconds of the video are TRULY WHAT THE F*CK moments!! OMG K-Ci is a hot mess. And was he about to pull his WANG out? I really want him to understand that blatant flicks of the tongue and partial nudity do NOT a sex symbol make! The show also included acts such as Dru Hill, Changing Faces, Troop, Blackstreet, KCI & JoJo, Guy, Next, and Jagged Edge. Too bad I missed it! You can check out photos and additional information about the event at Exclusive Access. I NEED you guys to comment about these pics!!! I know you guys will slay me!

The folks on Twitter are always pointing out random acts of f*ckery that I’m more than happy to share with you guys on the blog. The homie, Poetic Rymes, directed me to The YBF and I couldn’t believe my eyes. THIS is the sexy ass Devante Swing from the hit 90s group, Jodeci? Life has NOT been kind to ole boy, believe that. Sheesh! Post your thoughts on the flick and visit The YBF for additional photos.

So, it’s a slow news day! WOMP! Insomnia has me up watching old episodes of The Parent ‘Hood and I started wondering what happened to the girl that played CeCe Peterson. Fresh over at Crunk & Disorderly already found the chub-chub that was Nicholas (click HERE to check him out). And here’s his lil’ sis…all grow’ed up. She’s still a doll!

You super young folks might not know a thing about Christopher “Kid” Reid of the hit duo (and House Party fame), Kid ‘n’ Play but they were truly the business back in the day (click HERE for one of my favorites). A lot of people on the ‘net were clowning about the vid but hell, at least it’s a check (and possibly a discount on some suits). Let that boy live…giggles
