Thank you guys so much for voting so hard that you made MissJia.com (as well as my personal blog, She.So.Fly) a FINALIST for the 2010 Black Weblog Awards! I truly appreciate your support but now I need you to vote again and tell your friends!

Although I’d really LOVE to win one or both of those, I must say that I am truly thankful and humbled to receive those nods. I’m so crunk! Today actually marks ONE whole year that MissJia.com has been online with me making the very best efforts I can to bring you the latest in urban entertainment news. As I went on my twitter rant (which happens far too often LOL), I explained to my followers that even though a year doesn’t seem like much to most, it means a lot to me. I have been notorious (in the past and with all aspects of my life) for being a person who likes something for a hot minute and then abandoning it for something new. But the fact that I’ve stuck this out hopefully lets you know that I enjoy it!

Janet Jackson opened up for tonight’s AMA broadcast. Of course, we can all agree that Janet looks amazing but a lot of you (myself included) commented that her moves aren’t as fluid as they once were. Don’t worry Jackson fans, no shade here. Just an observation!
WorldStar got the video of Rihanna’s re-uped for your viewing pleasure. I spent the whole night thinking that she was ass naked underneath those bandages but photo stills show that it was a flesh colored body suit!
TMZ has learned the city of New York officially cracked down on the tattoo parlor where Rihanna illegally inked a few people back in July.
The day after Rihanna made her mark, East Side Ink was issued a citation by the the NYC Department of Health for “operating with an unlicensed tattoo artist on site.”
It’s unclear how much the tat shop had to pay in fines, but we’re told it could run anywhere between $200-$2000.
