Grammy award winning singer turned star of Braxton Family Values, Toni Braxton, stopped by The Wendy Williams Show this morning to promote her upcoming Lifetime movie, Twist of Faith. An interfaith love story between a gospel singer (Braxton), and a Jewish widower set to air this Saturday, February 9th at 8/7c. While there, she also talked about the upcoming season of BFV, and retiring from the music industry.

Toni claims that outside of this movie on Lifetime, she will not be singing anymore (outside of the occasional tour here and there to pay the bills) or recording new music because she has lost her passion for it.

I’m falling out of love with it, it’s weird. I don’t know what to say when I hear songs. They don’t impact me… I’ve been trying to listen to songs. Record companies have been calling me, so it’s a good situation to be in, but I’m not really interested at all.

In case you missed it last night (like myself), LL Cool J sat down with Mother O for an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. The rapper turned actor talks about everything from his career to his abusive childhood, and witnessing his father shoot his mother and grandfather.

I guess it would leave you scarred. It was tough. You know what’s interesting, my mother forgave my father. He came back into my life and made amends for a lot of things, by helping to guide me. My father, made a massive blunder, but he also did a lot of things right. I learned to hand out the mercy, that I like to receive.
