Chris Brown has been receiving mixed reactions from fans after his appearance on The Today Show this morning with journalist, Matt Lauer. Chris opened up about his past mistakes (of course, the interview wouldn’t be complete without questions regarding the 2009 assault involving his on/off love, Rihanna), being a changed man, his new album, X, and where his relationship with Rih Rih stands now…

On what he’s learned from his past mistakes:

I think it’s just me proving myself once again, and also me just being a man, and knowing what I did wrong and never doing it again. As far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart. I’m not really focused on the negative, everything about it is positive for me. I did my 52 weeks of counseling and learned it was absolutely wrong.

On the public’s opinion of him:

I think everybody is entitled to their opinion. For me, it’s just a learning process. You know, I have to just take it one day at a time. I can’t make everybody like me … it’s about me being positive, and everything I do in my music is to inspire the world.

Chris also confirmed that he and Rihanna are still together despite a recent interview, and reports claiming the two had broken up…

We’re fine, they got it wrong. [It was] an old interview from a year prior. Yeah, everything’s good, we’re fine.

BET TheGame LaurenLondon MissJia 375x600 Video: Lauren London Talks New Role On The Game & Co Parenting With Lil Wayne

Actress, Lauren London, took a short hiatus from acting after the birth of her son, Cameron, to focus on her role as a new mom. Since then, she’s had small roles in VH1′s Single Ladies, and Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family. Now, she’s making major moves with a new film in the works, and a recurring role on season 6 of BET’s The Game.

Lauren recently sat down with Cocoa Fab to dish on replacing Tia Mowry-Hardrict, balancing her work with motherhood, and co-parenting with rapper, Lil’ Wayne.

On replacing Tia Mowry on The Game:

There’s a little bit of nervous energy. I gave my best and I can just pray and hope that stands out and that people can see with new eyes and be accepting. Hopefully I’m entertaining enough and funny and they’ll appreciate that. But I gave my best and I definitely want to still keep the same standard. I don’t think I did too bad, so…

On finding a work-life balance now that she has a child:

It was challenging for me because I didn’t have 24/7 with him, but all of the women in my life that are mothers worked and made it happen. It was good and grand and I think that it’s good for children sometimes to have a little bit of independence and not be up under you all the time. I made sure that my days off I was with him and spent time with him, made sure that the days I was gonna be on set really, really long he came on set, he knew what I was doing. This is just mommy’s work and mommy will be right back.

On co-parenting with Wayne:

Every situation is different, but I really want to create a peaceful environment for my child. I want him to know love and peace and balance. That’s so important to me. I have no reason to dislike anyone or to have any conflict because the most important thing for me is for him to be raised in a peaceful environment where things can be settled. For me, that was just important.

The Cast of The Game recently stopped by The Wendy Williams Show, Wendy wasted no time asking LL about Weezy’s alleged codeine overdose, and if the two were still an item…

Nicki Minaj Miss Jia 500x333 Nicki Minaj Toots Her Own Horn: Ive Been a Spectacular Idol Judge

When it comes to her current run as a judge on American Idol, clearly Nicki Minaj said, ‘F*ck being humble.’

During a recent conference call, she was asked to rate her judging performance thus far, and not surprisingly, the femcee gave herself glowing marks.

“My best and worst Idol moments? I don’t have a worst Idol moment,” the 30-year-old rapper said. “I’ve been spectacular. Yes, I am going to toot my own horn. And then my best moment is every single moment. I’ll toot it again!”

She also talked about the initial reservations that she had when first signing on for the show.

“I didn’t know what to expect going in to the show. I was so nervous. I had a lot of anxiety. I felt like, ‘Okay, I know everybody’s just going to hate me,’” she recalled. “There were moments in the audition process that I would say to the producers, ‘I can’t do this anymore. If everyone is going to give a good critique and I’m going to be the only one being honest, then America is going to hate me. I’m going to be seen as mean.’ And the producers said, ‘Nicki, trust us, America is going to appreciate the honesty.’ And that’s all I had to go on.”

Now I haven’t personally caught an episode since the auditions, so I really can’t critique Nicki’s judging skills, but I wouldn’t call arriving late to a live taping spectacular.

Have any of you guys been tuning in this season? If so, how would you rate Nicki’s performance? Does she bring something special to the panel, or should they ditch her before next season?

Girlfriends Are You Ready for Girlfriends, the Movie?

Well, you just might get your wish! MAYBE…..

Blogger, Carlton Jordan, recently caught up with the ultra beautilful Jill Marie Jones, who played Toni “I specialize in Results” Childs, on the hit TV series, Girlfriends, and she says that she and the cast would actually welcome a reunion via movie if business was in order!

I am absolutely here for it. I was one of the late ones who fell in love with Girlfriends AFTER the show was over. Although I hated how they had those Joan moments freezing in time during earlier episodes, I ended up loving the storylines and the relationships amongst the cast.

Additionally, the shows creator, Mara Brock Akil, posted to Twitter that she’s thinking of starting a Kickstarter account to help fund the movie.

How many of you would be down for Girlfriends, the Movie? Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
