In case you missed it Friday night, Ciara was the guest on Jenny McCarthy’s new late night talk show on VH1. In her typical style, Jenny didn’t hold anything back when chopping it up with the Body Party singer, asking about her relationship with Future, if all black men are well endowed, and whether she has a beef with Rihanna.

CiCi definitely kept it cute with her answers, and it looks like she was genuinely having a good time too.

Ciara continued on her promo trail this week, stopping by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday to personally drop off her Body Party video. In what could’ve been a super awkward moment, she was interviewed by host and ex-boyfriend, Bow Wow, but both managed to keep it pretty professional. (Of course, Bow did have to throw in his lil’ comment about CiCi being like a daughter to his mom, but besides that, he wasn’t too shady.)

American Idol season 3 alum, Fantasia Barrino, returned to the AI stage last night to perform her lead single, Lose To Win, from her forthcoming fourth studio album, Side Effects Of You, due April 23rd.

Fanny looked stunning in a white gown and short red pixie cut, and her vocals were on point as usual, garnering her a standing ovation from the audience and all four American Idol judges.

It looks like La La Anthony has been bit by the acting bug. After landing roles in Think Like a Man and the upcoming Baggage Claim, the real-life basketball wife is now taking her talents to the small screen.

Following right behind 2 Chainz, La will make a guest appearance on a future episode of Law & Order: SVU, and shared a few photos of the experience with her Instagram fam.

R&B crooner, Miguel, was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. The acclaimed singer hit the stage to perform his hit singles, Adorn, and How Many Drinks?, from his Grammy nominated, sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream.

Troubled rapper, DMX, is not too happy about the way he was portrayed on a recent episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life. According to a statement he released through his publicist, X insists that he only agreed to sit down with Iyanla Vanzant to build a relationship with his 10 children, not put his struggle with drugs and addiction on display…

DMX agreed to be a guest on Iyanla: Fix My Life with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children. When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not ‘fix’ DMX’s life, just made his image worse, and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage.

After the episode aired on Saturday, DMX’s son, Xavier, disagreed with his father’s statements saying, He loves to play the victim role…

The older I’ve gotten, I’ve learned to see him as a person, and I’m starting to see now how he loves to play the victim role. At first, he thought the show was all about him, but when they started tackling the tough questions, he got on the defense and just flipped out. Iyanla did not make his life worse, he did that.

It’s hard nowadays to turn on the radio and hear a song that doesn’t feature 2 Chainz, and soon, we may be saying the same about TV. After making a cameo earlier this year on CBS’ 2 Broke Girls, Tity Boi has now landed himself a role on the über-popular Law & Order: SVU.

The I’m Different rapper will play a character named Calvin ‘Pearlie’ Jones, and shared a few on-set pics with his Instagram followers.

I guess he missed the memo that Jia’s boo, #MARISKA, is off limits…

Tyler Perry’s Madea and Oprah’s Sofia (The Color Purple) cross paths in a hilarious new vid to promote Tyler’s two new upcoming OWN Network television shows, The Haves and the Have Nots, and Love Thy Neighbor, both set to premiere May 28th and 29th.

All my life I had to fight. I had to fight the press folks, I had to fight the ratings, I had to fight them haters. Girl chile, ain’t safe in a world full of cable channels. I loves OWN, God knows I do. But I ain’t gone let nobody beat me. You want a great cable channel? You find OWN like everybody else been doin’.

Last fall, Rihanna filled up a 757 jet with fans and press, and scoured the country on her 777 Tour. The unprecedented trek had RiRi performing in seven countries in seven days; and while in theory it seemed awesome, it left most passengers disheartened and disappointed with the experience.

If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to be invited aboard, Fox has now turned the excursion into a one-hour documentary. It will definitely be interesting to see if they include any of the negative aspects we kept hearing about in real time, or if they’ll spin it to seem like nothing went wrong.

The special airs on Monday, May 6. Will you be tuning in?
