Earlier this month, it was announced that Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, TV personality, Jeannie Mai, and comedian, Loni Love, had been given the green light for a trial run of their new ‘The View’ inspired daytime talk show, The Real.

Fox has released a new sneak peek of what viewers can expect from this diverse group of women who have no problem keeping it real, and connecting to a younger audience. The show will air on select Fox stations starting July 15th.

Last night, Lil’ Wayne stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live. The rapper opened up about his seizures and recent health scare, getting banned by the Miami Heat, his relationship with LeBron James, Chris Bosh’s wife, and retiring after Tha Carter V.

On his recent health scare & seizures:

I’m great. I had a few seizures and the one that was very serious was the one that everyone was worried about. That one was serious because the house that I was in has an upstairs and downstairs… I was upstairs and my homies were downstairs, and they didn’t even know that I was up there. One of them was just like, ‘He hasn’t come down in a minute’, and they came up there. It’s a private, medical matter I’ve been dealing with my whole life. We’re used to it happening, so my doctor and all my homies, now they know.

On LeBron James & The Miami Heat Ban:

He’s a stand up guy. It’s not true. I didn’t get banned because they told me I’m allowed back whenever I want, but I don’t think they want me there so I won’t make it hard on either one of us.

On retiring after Tha Carter V:

I want to retire after Tha Carter V, which I hope to be my last album. Tha Carter V will not be my next album, but after Tha Carter V, I hope I can retire.

Hands down, The Simpsons has to be one of the most recognizable cartoons in existence, so it’s gotta be pretty cool to officially get Simpson-ized.

The iconic Fox cartoon is known for enlisting celebrity guests to voice characters (or play themselves), and the latest star to get animated for the show is rapper, The Game.

He took to Instagram to share the news, posting the above pic and saying:

Daytime television will be getting another ‘The View’ inspired talk show. According to Deadline, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, TV personality, Jeannie Mai, and comedian, Loni Love, have all been given the green light for a trial run of their new show, The Real. The Telepictures-produced show will air on some Fox-owned television stations throughout the summer starting July 8th.

The Real is looking to follow in the footsteps of another Telepictures syndicated talk show, Bethenny, which had a successful summer run on Fox stations last summer before getting a nationwide launch this fall. For the Fox stations, this is the second talk show that is being given a try this summer, along with Twentieth’s Kris, hosted by Kris Jenner, which premieres July 15.

Now this right here, is some good shit.

He may be Hollywood royalty now, but I absolutely love that Will Smith has no problem acknowledging where he got his start, and remembers that fans will always love him for his days on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Will and son, Jaden, were recently on The Graham Norton Show over in London to promote their new movie, After Earth, and surprised the crowd with an unexpected Fresh Prince reunion. Will brought out both DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro for a medley of classic TV moments, and Jaden joined in on the fun too.

Having already served as a judge on the U.K. version, Kelly Rowland is no stranger to The X-Factor; and now, the former Destiny’s Child singer will be bringing her critiques a little closer to home.

Miss Rowland will officially join the upcoming season of Simon Cowell’s latest brainchild, along with Demi Lovato, and new host, Paulina Rubio.

When asked about the gig, Kelly expressed how happy she was to continue with the franchise.

I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and The X Factor family. It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the States!
