Rumors began swirling over the weekend that the racy Telephone video featuring Lady Gaga & Beyonce had been banned by MTV but a rep for the company says it isn’t so! Good deal!
An executive at MTV has denied the network has banned Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s racy new video for “Telephone.” The nine-and-a-half minute long promo has caused a stir online; attracting more than 12 million viewers in the three days after it debuted on YouTube.com.
The video shows the “Poker Face” hit-maker being taken into a women-only prison, where she is abused by inmates and stripped naked by two female guards. Gaga even refers to rumors she has both male and female sex organs – by pixelating her genitalia in the raunchy footage.
It was reported by CNN.com that bosses at MTV had decided to ban the video because of concerns over its sexual content, as they did with the promo for Madonna’s 1990 hit “Justify My Love.”
However, MTV’s manager of programming, Tuma Basa, has hit back at the reports. In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, “The reports are false… the video’s been airing since Friday morning on AMTV.”
During a mini-interview with DJ Enuff, Swizz Beatzkinda speaks on why his relationship with Mashonda ended. And guess what? It’s NOT Alicia Keys fault. He says that the reason for the dissolution of their marriage was because Mashonda repeatedly tried to make him choose between their marriage and his relationship with his oldest son (who knew?). He also hinted that Mashonda was using the drama of their fallout to try and pull in a reality show. And did he say that ole girl was trying to find different ways of going through his phone? Remember that little story posted a few days ago about D’Angelo getting arrested for offering some chick a measly $40 for a blowjob? Apparently he has reps…and they’ve spoken up on his behalf! Okay…

The supermodel Naomi Campbell, who has twice pleaded guilty to assault charges in the last three years, hit her driver on Tuesday as he drove through Midtown, the police said. She then ran away after the driver pulled over, they said.
The driver had a small bruise under his eye from hitting the steering wheel after Ms. Campbell struck him, the police said.
As of Tuesday evening, investigators had not found Ms. Campbell to question her about the midday episode, which happened at the intersection of Second Avenue and 58th Street, the police said. No charges have been filed.
So recently, there has been a story circulating the ‘net regarding a ’situation’ that took place during All Star weekend in Dallas involving Tameka Raymond and a publicist named Rochelle Brown (Click HERE if you missed it). You have to read the story to understand the rebuttal. Apparently Brown was about to make off with several of Tameka’s belongings and an immediate statement was sent out on Brown’s behalf offering insight to the goings on during the event. Quite frankly, if someone was attempting to leave a location with my belongings, I’d be ready to go apesh*t too. As they say, there are always two sides to every story.

“It is so unfortunate that people will try to gain notoriety by spreading lies, and untruths, by riding another’s coat tail or any means necessary. I guess its just another sign of the times we’re in. I generally do not respond to many of the silly fables, asinine rumors, or tall tales that constantly circulate, but I found this one so creative and filled with hilarity that I felt compelled to.
This “PR” person, Rochelle Brown and her V Firm PR was hired on a 3 month trial basis in the Fall to garner publicity for one of my non-profits and unfortunately was insincere with her references and promised media coverage for our event. Therefore the relationship didn’t work out; however I wish Ms. Brown the best in her quest for other PR endeavors.
Nonetheless, this current story is ridiculously fabricated and the accounts reported are completely baseless. It is apparent that this can only be yet another failed attempt by a person to gain their 15 minutes of fame. Well here…I’m only giving her 5. If you believe this story then I’ll sell you a bridge too. Now.. that is all.”
