DanityKane Reunited MissJia 500x548 Video: Dawn Richard Shuts Down Danity Kane Rumors, We Only Had Lunch

Fans of former Bad Boy girl group, Danity Kane, were beyond excited last month, when TMZ cameras spotted the girls (Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres) headed to lunch together (5 years after their break up) in L.A., with new management in tow. The sighting sparked rumors of a possible Danity Kane reunion, even prompting left out member, D. Woods, to decline on a reunion… before even being approached about the idea, due to her various business ventures

PRV recently caught up with Dawn Richard to get to the bottom of the Danity Kane rumors…

We ate, we walked out and we didn’t realize how powerful it was. We had no clue, and I think we never really realized it. We were so busy trying to be great and have our focus and have our business together. This is the first time I think we stepped back and like ‘This is insane,’ yeah it’s crazy. Everything is a ‘we’ll see’ at this point, nobody was thinking of that [during lunch]. The possibilities are endless now, you guys have made it so…

On why D. Woods wasn’t asked to join the girls for lunch:

We asked D.Woods to come, but once again everybody has their place and their time and that’s okay. Everybody be okay with that. I think it was great for us to meet, and there’s love all around. We’re too grown for it not to be. I think what was brilliant about it, what the focus needs to be on is not who didn’t show up, but the fact that after six years the monumental response that came from it. I think we dwell in the negative we should love everybody and see the fact that after six years, people can’t last a year, we haven’t spoke the name DK in years and for five seconds of us to go to lunch it be that huge, speaks volumes on a fan base.

On D. Woods declining a DK reunion:

She’s great… Let the girl be–like it’s one of those things where we too grown. Let her be whatever they choose, whatever people choose, let them live in they moment if they feel like they the queen let them live. Like that’s okay to say no. Damn, like I think we gotta chill out we be doing the most, if that’s her choice that’s her choice and that’s cool…

KellyRowland Hot1079 Interview MissJia 500x488 Kelly Rowland Admits DC Tracks, Girl, & Bad Habit, Are About Her Abusive Relationship

Sexy songstress, Kelly Rowland, recently stopped by Philly’s Hot 107.9 to dish on her new emotionally charged track, Dirty Laundry, being the inspiration behind Destiny’s Child tracks, Girl, and Bad Habit, her celebrity crush, and favorite MC…

On whether or not Girl was written about her:

Yes. I love that song too, and it’s so funny because I don’t know how people connect dots with music and artists that they have followed for so long, but when I that on Twitter people were starting to put all pieces to the puzzle together, it was so interesting. They did it with ‘Girl’, they did it with ‘Bad Habit’, they did it with so many songs on that album, and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s crazy.’

On getting emotional when she heard the lyrics to Girl:

Of course I did, the girls wrote it for me. Destiny’s Child is deeper than what people see on the surface. Those are my homies for life. ‘Golden Girls’, we stuck with each other… period.

On her celebrity crush:

He’s taken and I completely respect his wife… if he’s married. Jessie Williams from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. He’s just gorgeous, it makes no sense how beautiful this man is. I saw him at Super Bowl, and I refused to stare. It’s almost like you’re looking at a work of art. He’s such a man like in the way he talks, and the way he acts, it’s just really interesting.

On her favorite MC:

Kendrick Lamar. I love how witty he is, and how he thinks of things off the cuff. He’s very socially conscious. He puts things that are happening, things that are current events… the way he thinks about stuff and puts it all together in a song, he’s just very smart, very intelligent… I like him a lot.

On her ex-fiance, Roy Williams, making a comment about Dirty Laundry:

Who?

For the most part, it seems like the Beyoncé pregnancy rumors have died down quite a bit as of lately; but of course, there are still some folks that are certain Bey is once again with child.

Today’s Savanah Guthrie caught up with King B backstage at the recent Chime for Change concert, and she just had to ask the Standing on the Sun superstar about the hearsay. Beyoncé didn’t confirm or deny the rumors, but she laughed them off, implying that Blue Ivy will not be getting a new sibling anytime soon.

What do you guys think? Do you still think she could be pregnant? Post your thoughts!

Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim have had a pretty public beef for quite some time now, so it was kind of surprising to hear Nicki openly admit that Kim was one of her faves when she was coming up.

During her recent stop at Hot 97, Nicki was asked who her favorite femcee was, and she shouted out some of the big female names who have lead the way.

Ummm my favorite…Foxy, Kim, Lauryn, and then Remy. Like, when you know Remy came out, I was very, very excited about her. But you know with the Foxy, Kim, and Remy, they were all from New York too.

She also gave props to both Missy Elliott and Left Eye as well.

Check out the full clip above, and post your thoughts.

Sidenote: When she mentioned Remy, did anyone else remember that viral video that was ‘supposedly’ Nicki?

Kelly Rowland recently stopped by 93.9 WKYS in Washington D.C. to dish on her forthcoming stint on X-Factor US, her new album, Talk A Good Game, feeling empowered sexually through her music, her sisterly bond with Beyoncé and Michelle, and her recent breakdown during a live performance of her latest single, Dirty Laundry.

It’s really weird when you take yourself out of being in front of a crowd. In that moment, even the way I just sat up there and put my feet up, I felt like I was in therapy, and I was just sitting up there singing and talking and explaining what happened. It was like that crowd wasn’t even there for a second, and when the music stopped… I was like, ‘You are live Kel, Calm down.’ I had to calm down, and in the moment I was like, ‘Ok. Ugh, Breathe!’ I was sitting up there breathing and I was like, ‘Ok, don’t break down now…’ You get lost, and there’s nothing wrong with being lost, but that was weird. That won’t happen again. It’s very weird when that happens, but I felt like I could do that with D.C.

Peter Rosenberg Nicki Minaj Miss Jia 500x500 Nicki Minaj & Hot 97s Peter Rosenberg Kiss & Make Up

With Hot 97′s annual Summer Jam just around the corner, you may recall the fiasco that occurred last year with headliner, Nicki Minaj. Shortly before she was scheduled to hit the stage, Nicki pulled out because of comments made in regards to her music, by morning show host, Peter Rosenberg.

It looks like time has finally helped heal those wounds a bit though, because Nicki actually stopped by the legendary radio station and squashed the beef with Rosenberg. In true Minaj fashion, she got in plenty of jabs at the DJ, but she also admitted that she should’ve just sucked it up and performed.

In hindsight, I should have just did the show. I wish I would have come out.

The visit wasn’t all just Summer Jam talk either. The Pink Friday femcee chatted about what’s on her agenda for the near future, including filming The Other Woman with Cameron Diaz.

Tiffany New York Pollard Making Her Way Back to Reality TV

Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard rose to mini fame after being a contestant on Flavor of Love and later her own reality TV show series. Two years ago, Tiffany revealed a natural hair look, taking a few by surprise since we always see her decked out in a lace front wig.

Although she’s been flying way below the radar as of late, she recently spoke with Spoken Ent where she openly discussed shooting a pilot for a new reality TV series, her love life, and her former Flavor of Love/I Love New York cast mates.

On her new reality TV show:
I’ve been long awaiting a hearty healthy return to reality television. And the concept would have to fit my life and where it is right now. Fortunately, three weeks ago…I shot a pilot with a brilliant production crew. The concept is bananas. When you guys see this. It’s like…we couldn’t have accepted her back in any other way. It’s true HBIC performance. It’s coming!

On her love life & spirituality:
There is somebody in my life. And he is a big part of it. He influences me daily. I keep it real private…and that’s why it works. Sometimes when you moving in certain circles people try to infiltrate that love and test it.

I am a Christian. But I’m not a scary Christian. God inspires me. His whole gospel was to give back to people and to care about mankind. I do a lot of humanitarian work. Of course that does not get picked up, but when you do it from your heart….you’re not looking for recognition.

On former cast mates for Flavor of Love:
Obviously Flav and I and a lot of the other contestants are busy. But if we see each other out somewhere…it’s all love. We all support each other. If I see somebody from the past doing their thing on television I don’t throw shade. To tell you the truth, there’s only so many spotlights on television so if you can jump into one of them, I’m applauding you.

Ray J is going balls to the walls with promo for his new single, I Hit It First, and recently spoke with Joy Daily TV/Street Sweeper Radio where the younger brother of Brandy where he talked about his favorite topic ever…Kim Kardashian.

Oh brother…..

On whether or not he misses Kim:
Nah, not at all. We was what we was and I think we got that in our life forever. Whatever we experienced in our life, that’s forever, right? But I do got respect. I still live a turned up life. We still make records, we stay in our lane, and we don’t bite our tongue as far as the music. That’s where you go to express yourself, but the respect is always there.

On how good the vag is:
It was good. She’s doing her thing, and I’m doing my thing.

On whether or not Kim would’ve received her level of success without him:
I think that if it wasn’t for God, we all wouldn’t be better.

He tapped danced like shit (and the interview was kinda bleh), but humor him on this fine Friday!
