Chris Brown took to his Say Now account to address his fans, pleading with them for their help in getting the radio stations to begin showing a little love again. According to Breezy, they’re just not playing his records anymore. He goes on to say that he can NOT be an underground artist, followed be a request to his fans to call their local radio stations and ask them to play his music. What do you guys think of this? While I do believe that he probably is feeling a slight sting due to his incident with Rihanna, I also believe that a LOT of artists are feeling the downward spiral of the music industry right now. Several artists’ record sales are suffering. What do you guys think?

Here’s a shot of Beyonce from the yet to be released video for Telephone. She and Lady Gaga must’ve had to wait for Jesus to clear His calendar for a guest spot in the video. I don’t think we’ve ever waited…and waited…and waited…for a video this long. Nonetheless, the official release date for the video is allegedly going down tomorrow at 11:30pm. We’ll see…
Kelis released artwork for her upcoming Fleshtones album. I can dig it…kinda. I still haven’t been able to wrap my mind around the whole silver mullet thing. I mean, if it works, it works but so far…not impressed.

Rihanna traveled to Arizona to meet boyfriend Matt Kemp’s family this weekend, but this was no ordinary trip. The singer flew in all the way from Berlin on Saturday just so she could attend Kemp’s charity bash, Ante Up for Autism. The L.A. Dodgers outfielder is very close to the cause as his brother is autistic. She had performed at the Echo Awards in Berlin on Thursday but then hopped on a plane shortly after.
“Matt was happy she came,” says an inside source on Rihanna making it to the event. “It was an awesome show of support.”
Besides the other pro baseballers in the house Saturday evening, Kemp’s family also attended, and they met Rihanna for the first time.
“Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable.”
The fundraising gala kicked off with Vegas-style gaming and cocktails, a live and a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing. The second-annual event raised $170,000 with only 150 people in attendance.
