I really need to do more with myself than deal with the shenanigans on Twitter.

Last night, @IHuntMidgets brought this interruption into my life. I Want Pie is not about satisfying an actual sweet tooth, but instead a command for a taste of you ladies’ love canal. Pretty Raheem & Slick Mahoney are probably an interesting pair to watch at family reunions.

I want my four minutes back.

RickRoss Reebok MissJia 500x394 Rick Ross Apologizes For ‘Date Rape Lyrics, One Of My Biggest Mistakes And Regrets

Welp, looks like losing that endorsement deal with Reebok was the final straw that prompted Rick Ross to finally release a formal apology for his now infamous date rape lyrics on the original version of Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O (You Don’t Even Know It)…

Before I am an artist, I am a father, a son, and a brother to some of the most cherished women in the world. So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility. And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”

Rick Ross Reebok MissJia 500x324 Rick Ross Loses His Endorsement Deal With Reebok

Rick Ross has been under fire ever since his controversial date rape lyrics appeared on Rocko’s latest track, U.O.E.N.O (You Don’t Even Know It). Radio stations have pulled his records from rotation, Women’s Rights Groups have started protesting, and now Reebok has dropped the MMG boss from his endorsement deal.

TMZ reports:

Ross has taken a ton of heat for his song, U.O.E.N.O … in which he happily sings, ‘Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain’t even know it.’ Translation — date rape.

Reebok tells TMZ, ‘Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.’

Maybe now that he’s lost a major endorsement deal, we’ll get a real apology…. Post your thoughts!

Does Tahiry of Love & Hip Hop Have the Cant Never Go Away? + Secretly Married?

How many of you are actively watching and enjoying the New York installment of Love & Hip Hop?

Although I’ve tuned in several times since the new season started, I can’t say that I’ve anxiously changed the channel to VH1 for the sole purpose of watching. I think the Atlanta installment has me a little spoiled.

To keep all eyes and ears on the show, all types of rumors are hitting the web about the cast, but the most recent is about big booty model and former boo thang of Joe Budden, Tahiry Jose.

According to Gossip Daily, not only was Tahiry married, but she’s knowingly spreading herpes to men that she beds. The list allegedly (just like this rumor) consists of notables such as Trey Songz, Drake, French Montana, and a few others.

The initial exposé was reportedly sent to the show’s producer, Mona Scott-Young, but after being ignored, the writer advised that he/she would put Mona on blast for not showing due diligence in reporting the information. The writer also noted that Tahiry was expected to release a documentary where she not only talks about the alleged illness but also a secret marriage.

You previously received an email about 4 months ago letting you know that a documentary was being produced about Tahiry Jose who is a cast member on your show (see below). You were advised to do your due diligence on her, to avoid any problems that may arise, you ignored that advise. I can now confirm what in detail will be in the documentary that will be in four parts. As we made you aware Mrs. Jose has an incurable STD (Herpes) and has been and is sleeping with men knowingly willfullyand intentionally without disclosing the disease she carries, exposing these gentlemen, to her disease. It has been confirmed that she has indeed passed this disease on to men who did not know her STD status. The documentary is comprised of 70 hrs. of video footage of Mrs. Jose talking candidly of her disease, the man she got it from (who is in the industry), the men she has been slept with, emails, texts, pictures, a copy of her prescription her medical records have also been obtained.

Erica Mena WDIGFH Erica Menas New Single + Jen the Pen Uses White Privilege on Love & Hip Hop

But she was proud….

Are you feeling her track?

Additionally, during last night’s episode of the show, whiny cast member, Jen the Pen, flexed her white privilege after an argument with fellow cast member, Raqi Thunda. The two women were working together to host a radio show in New York, but beforehand, Raqi had to be told to calm herself when flirting with famous radio guest. During the first taping, Raqi found herself having a very sexual conversation with a male guest, leaving Jen the Pen feeling very uncomfortable.

Tyga Gameshow Unaired Game Show Footage Exposes Tyga?

Back in 2008, YMCMB rapper, Tyga, was a guest on a corny MTV game show that was fortunately never picked up. According to TMZ, the show titled, Bustas had wannabe-rappers compete against each other in games such as, Guess the Rapper By His Grill, and Is This a Real Rolex?  to see who can embody rap stereotypes the best.

Today, the unaired footage has made it’s way online, and now Tyga’s whole career is being called into question. Not only has Tyga been lying about being from the hard streets of Compton, CA, but he admits on camera that he had a privileged upbringing in the Valley suburbs.

In the video, the contestants are asked to freestyle and incorporate buzz words like amoeba into their raps. Tyga (who mispronounces the word) gets boo’d off the stage.

Watch the embarrassing footage below and post your thoughts!

So much for finding love…

Amidst a budding career in socks, Rob Kardashian managed to find love in singer, Rita Ora. Although the two of them oftentimes played shy about their relationship, various photo ops and ‘fake’ tattoos told a different story.

Well, at some point over the weekend, Rita bid farewell to Rob, causing him to go on a twitter rant, saying that the singer was loose.

Mashonda 500x333 Mashonda Responds To Alicia Keys JET Magazine Interview

With Girl On Fire set to be released in less than a week, maybe Alicia Keys should have just kept her mouth shut regarding the homewrecker accusations, and allowed them to just slowly fade away. Now, It looks like Miss Keys has re-opened that can of worms because Swizz’s ex, Mashonda, is responding to her claims in a recent interview with JET Magazine.

What has Mashonda been working on outside of singing?

I’ve been critiquing my writing skills, taking classes in New York City and traveling abroad to partake in writer workshops. I’ve also been doing some motivational speaking and talking to the youth about caring for themselves and preparing for their future. I do spend most of my time with my son, so I’m a full time mother. I just want to be clear that this interview isn’t about me promoting my projects and I don’t want to get caught up in speaking about the past. Talking to GlobalGrind about my present life is just more of a way for me to share my journey and where I am mentally today.

What was your initial reaction when you caught wind of Alicia’s JET Magazine interview?

Not much surprises me anymore when it comes to this situation. I truly thought that everyone’s priority was the well being of the children involved. I don’t see the sense in throwing oil on a fire, it just takes us back to point A. The Jet interview just added insult to injury. I can’t figure out how this makes us better. How is it a positive, humanitarian gesture? But artists must protect their reputation and I get that.

In the interview Alicia Keys says… ‘[They] were apart for some time before we ever got together…that doesn’t matter to those who take pleasure in trying to knock others down…there’s no need to fight what’s not true.’ Did you feel like this was a indirect stab at your open letter?

There have been many stabs and shots taken, thankfully they don’t bother me the way they used to. I’ve never lied about one thing involving the demise of my marriage. No, we were not “apart” or separated, and that’s just a fact that can be proven in many ways. Blessings have a way of disguising themselves. This situation has helped me to understand life and what really matters.

Do you think Alicia should have just left this situation alone? Post your thoughts!
