The group Pretty Ricky is a mess from top to bottom. From allegations of a former member putting his hands on children in a sexual manner, to red panty draws dance routines posted on Youtube…to posting fake pics of OTHER people’s dingalings on Twitter (and claiming that they’re yours)…to this. Slick ‘Em was recently at a hotel down in Charleston, South Carolina and was recorded indulging in that white girl. I’m not one to pass judgment because CLEARLY my life hasn’t been a cherry staircase. But what makes me angry about videos like this is that they KNOW that they have a very young teenage fan base and continue to do stuff like this. I know not ONE grown ass person who willingly goes to a Pretty Ricky concert to get their life off their shows. Although we all are only human and could never be perfect, the fact is at some point, you have to realize that whether you like it or not, you have an impressionable fan base and some decisions there after should be made with that in mind. Peep the video above and check out the letter I received in my inbox that could possibly offer some insight into this madness.

The internet was buzzing when it was announced that, in addition to receiving her honorary (high school) diploma, Mary J. Blige had also applied and been accepted to Howard University. However, it seems that Howard knows nothing of Mary’s alleged acceptance and released the following statement:

We encourage Ms. Blige to continue her studies and welcome her consideration of Howard University in the future. We are happy to work with Ms. Blige on completing the formal process for admission.

Damn! Way to shoot somebody down! Either or, if Mary is claiming to have proof (as posted in the above tweets), I wonder what Howard will have to say about that? Whatever the case, at least she won’t have to worry about Sallie Mae!

THIS is the reason I love me some Lil’ Kim. During this 1.5 minute interview, she basically chastises Drake, letting him know how she feels about him coming for her when she’s had nothing to say about him. Say what you want about Kim…but this is one chick that will go hard against anyone, male OR female. Wow! I wonder what Drake’s gonna say now?

That’s what the word on the street is. According to an article by a writer for the Washington Post, Gabby just might be letting her new found fame go straight to the dome.

I was thrilled to spot her at a table laughing uproariously with the man sitting to her right. “I know you’re having a good time and I’m sorry to interrupt,” I began. My next sentence didn’t come out because Sidibe shouted over the din, “Yeah, come back in five minutes!” Thinking she was joking, I laughed and pretended to walk away. When I noticed that the look in her eyes meant she was serious, I walked back to her and said, “I just wanted to congratulate you on your nomination. I thought your performance was spectacular. I even wrote a column about it.” After wishing her good luck, I rejoined my friends.

The above video is quite telling as well. I won’t give it away but in all honesty, Gabby better get use to people calling her Precious, as they do it to everyone who has a role of significance. But that diva attitude will not fly.
