Blast from the Past: Aww Hell Naw!!!
On Friday, several 90s stars came together for a concert in Atlanta called Blast from the Past. I was going to check it out with a friend but once I heard that they’d been selling tickets for almost a month, I had to pass. I can’t stand being seated far away.
But that’s neither here nor there. The first few seconds of the video are TRULY WHAT THE F*CK moments!! OMG K-Ci is a hot mess. And was he about to pull his WANG out? I really want him to understand that blatant flicks of the tongue and partial nudity do NOT a sex symbol make! The show also included acts such as Dru Hill, Changing Faces, Troop, Blackstreet, KCI & JoJo, Guy, Next, and Jagged Edge. Too bad I missed it! I'm tired of seeing K-Ci "the jacked up" version. He needs to get it together, God help him. I can't stand that "sing it y'all" and the crowd takes over the rest of the song. We know the words to your song, but we pay to hear YOU sing it, not us. We sing it at the house and probably in the car on the way to the show, now it's time to hear you sing. SMH.
Dru Hill sounded pretty good. I guess after that blow up last year, Woody is permanently gone, but 3/4 original members aint bad.

Sigh…my people. I never realized how fucked up K-Ci was until viewing that video. (To be completely honest, I never knew which one was K-Ci and which one was Jo-Jo. Don't judge me.)
But I digress. Who authorized him to perform half-nude? Is there any woman that's not smoking a crack pipe her damn self that finds him even REMOTELY sexy? I would be mad as hell if I paid my money and had to endure that bullshit.
And I need Dru Hill to stop with the same tired dance moves that they've been doing since the 90s. I won't even comment on Nokio's fuchsia faux-hawk and nubby black fingernails.
