It’s safe to assume that Drake is seething and casting a spell via voodoo doll right now.

Chris Brown makes a plea for love and unity with his new track featuring the late Aaliyah, Don’t Think They Know. Sampling a portion of Jon B’s They Don’t Know, you can also see clips of Aaliyah dancing in the background (via her video, Try Again).

Every two hours in America today, a child dies of a gunshot wound. Unity is what we are afraid of. So fear is insanity; let’s love each other.

With the announcement of the fourth annual OVO Fest, a new tour with Miguel & Future, as well as a new album titled Nothing Was the Same, Drake is set to remain a very busy man.

He recently sat down with GQ Magazine (landing their July cover) to talk about love & sex, starting from the bottom, and his BFF for life, Chris Brown.

On withholding the D & love:

You know the way fighters don’t fuck before the fight? Sometimes I feel like I’m so focused on training my body and getting my mind right to create this album that sex isn’t one of my main priorities. If someone is around that I know and trust, I’m down. But I’m not going to end up with some stranger at this party.

[Will Smith said] It’s not about wanting anymore, you need that person. Hearing that, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way…I’ve made a lot of music about love being the only thing I’m missing. I think this is the first album I’ve made saying, ‘I’m okay, I’m enjoying it right now.’ Maybe this is my time to grind it out, make a run for it, and add some memories with my boys.

On Chris Brown:

I hear he has everything he could want now. I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down. If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly…Like, it gets really dark.

On his catchy Started From the Bottom tune:

I think a lot of people wish their favorite rapper wrote it—as if a song like that should be gangster—but I was the one who wrote it, and everyone has their bottom.

As for my whole story, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve told bits and pieces of it—and I’ll tell more. Maybe because I had friends who grew up in the hood, I could have acted like I had, too, and perpetrated a different lifestyle, and it would be eating away at me because it wouldn’t be the truth. I’m actually here in front of you living the truth. I wake up in the morning and my heart is light, man. It’s not heavy. I don’t have skeletons in the closet on their way out. This is my real age, my real name, my real past, and I’m good with that.

Drake is so fabulous.

Samsung seems to be making a lot of power moves this week, and although the purpose of one or two may have little to no explanation, it’s still fun to sit back and watch.

Usher stars in the short film, Looking 4 Myself (set to his music of the same name), where he has a battle in the streets with himself for Samsung’s smart TV series.

Chad Johnson may not be having the greatest week.

Last year, he and former wife/reality TV star, Evelyn Lozada, were a part of a huge domestic dispute that took place in Florida following allegations of cheating. Evelyn filed for divorce three days later. Although the incident took place a while ago, photos are now surfacing showcasing Evelyn’s injuries, and they aren’t pretty at all. Chad later pled ‘no contest’ to domestic violence charges and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West aren’t the only two basking in the glow of new parenthood.

Reggie Bush recently uploaded a photo of his beautiful daughter, Briseis, to his instagram account.

Enjoying my first Father’s Day with my family! #blessed

Reggie and his fiancee, Lilit Avagyan, welcomed the beautiful baby girl on May 6th. Weighing in at 8lbs, 8oz, Reggie says his new bundle is an absolute joy!

She’s amazing. She’s so beautiful. I love her to death. It’s just been an amazing experience so far so I’m very excited – just being a father.

Kim Kardashian has delivered a healthy baby girl, 5 weeks ahead of schedule. The reality star started having contractions Friday night, and went into full labor early Saturday morning at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

According to TMZ, Kanye cancelled his appearance at his Yeezus album release party to be by her side at the hospital.

In a day and age where music videos seem to be cranked out in cookie cutter fashion, it’s always nice to see an artist bring us visuals with a complete concept. Alicia Keys is no stranger to making videos with memorable story lines (Fallin’, You Don’t Know My Name, etc.), and she’s done it again with Tears Always Win.

The Robert Hales-directed cut follows Alicia as she tries her best to make it in Vegas, all while missing her boo back home.
