From custody battles to a interesting appearance on OWN, Usher has definitely had an favorable year. The crooner gets to end 2012 with his song, Climax, being named one of Time Magazine’s best songs.

Although I don’t hate the song, I got tired of hearing it fairly quickly! I’ve always said that Usher’s falsetto is not one to be played with, but after a while, it was like hearing nails on a chalk board. Great song, yes…but (one of the) song(s) of the year? What do you guys think?

On a sidenote, that annoying Condom Style* song was also included on this list. Last night while watching some unknown channel, a news broadcast said that the Korean man responsible for the ‘catchy’ track has reportedly made over $8mil from it. If corny stuff like that is all it takes, I’m clearly doing it wrong….
