2012 has been quite the year for newcomer, Kendrick Lamar. His debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, is arguably one of the hottest discs released, and the Compton emcee’s buzz just keeps on growing.
Kendrick graces next month’s issue of The Source, being dubbed their ‘Rookie of the Year.’ This is third year the magazine has awarded the title, and the publication’s staff said giving the Swimming Pools rapper the honor was a ‘no brainer.’
The issue officially hits stands December 4, but until then, check out a behind-the-scenes look from the shoot below.
