Oh, so she was on drugs before her mom passed. Okay, I get it now. See I thought she started using AFTER her passed. I knew she was diagnosed w/ bipolar (etc) before the passing of her mother, but I didn’t know she was on drugs then. Wow…

    I’ll definitely be tuned in!

  3. Hey You!:

    I can’t wait.

She's been diagnosed with BiPolar Disorder her entire life and her mother even wrote articles about raising her, so for Iyanla to take this sassy-sister homegirl approach is really in my opinion out of pocket. Maia is someone whom merely needs PROFESSIONAL help not words from one Sista-to-another…

But she isn't coming at her out of pocket due to her mental illness.. she can't help that but to take meds for it, However what Iyanla is there to make Maia realize is she can't keep saying oh they kept me from having a relationship with my mother. No she did, they took precaution because she was on drugs and adding that to her condition equals trouble. Iyanla gave her real and it wasn't with an attitude or loud voice she said it calmly accept your part in it.

Any doctot can prescribe you meds but some like Iyanla is perfect for the job. She’s going to start at the beginning and dissect as much as she can before dissecting and regurgitating everything. If you do the same thing, you get the same result. Maia knows what’s up so she’s trying a different approach and I applaud her. I’ll probably be at work so it’ll be DVR’d and viewed later.
