Although none of the Basketball Wives L.A. cast members have officially got the axe yet, Gloria Govan knows it’s coming, and she’s not surprised.

According to TMZ, Gloria is blaming her impending firing on hubby, Matt Barnes, and his refusal to participate in Shaunie’s shenanigans.

Govan says she has yet to be officially released from the show … but says the writing is on the wall and knew it was only a matter of time when she didn’t let producers film her wedding over the summer.

Govan says she believes producers are waiting to give her walking papers until AFTER the reunion show … because they want her to show up. Govan says she hasn’t decided if she’ll go … but it sounds like she’s leaning towards no.

As one of the original and actual wives from the franchise, does anyone else think it seems a bit ironic that she’s being let go because of her NBA husband? I’m thinking it’s about that time for VH1 to call it a wrap on the series, or at the very least change the damn title!
