Trey Songz stopped by Power 105′s The Breakfast Club this morning and had a few stipulations for his interview. Approximately two weeks ago, Ne-Yo stopped by the show and made a few comments about Trey and his lack of emotional depth in music. Although Ne-Yo’s comment could easily be seen as constructive criticism, Trey felt that he was out of line.
I’ma talk to Ne-Yo when I see him. The thing is, Ne-Yo know me. Ain’t no need to have that conversation for the world to hear. I feel like that’s a sucka move!
The Breakfast Club DJ’s attempted to probe Trey about Ne-Yo and his comment, but Trey wasn’t having it and made it ridiculously clear. It still didn’t stop them from trying.
Trey has gained a bit of a reputation for being a lil’ arrogant in interviews. However, if he says he doesn’t want to talk about it, do you think that the Breakfast Club should’ve kept probing or let it go?
Check out the interview below to get a glimpse of the awkwardness, and watch as he also talks about R. Kelly, his new album in stores today (Chapter V), and starring in the upcoming film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.
