Last month, Rihanna filed a lawsuit in Manhattan against her former New York based accounting firm, Berdon LLP, for gross mismanagement of her 2009 Last Girl on Earth tour funds which allegedly cost her millions. Rihanna claims the accountants took 22% of the revenue while only paying her 6% and caused significant financial losses.

The accounting firm has decided to fire back at RiRi, claiming that any financial losses were her own fault and the commission they took was signed off on by the singer in an engagement letter that gave them permission to take that percentage.

The accountants are adamant … it was RiRi’s own financial action or inaction or the actions of others working for her that caused her to lose MILLIONS … not them.

Berdon LLP is asking that RiRi be awarded ZILCH from the suit. A judge has yet to rule.
