..and hopefully you know that I’m being sarcastic with this title.

According to police, 21 year old Chavis Carter was pulled over in a friend’s vehicle on Saturday in Jonesboro, Arkansas and marijuana was found in the vehicle. After running Carter’s information, it was found that he had an outstanding warrant in Mississippi.

As protocol, Carter was then handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car. Police claimed to have heard a loud noise, and when they went to check on Carter, they found him dead with a shot in the head. Police said that during a routine search, they failed to find a gun on him.

However, the police’s account of what happened isn’t enough for his grieving mother. According to her, the shot gun wound was found on Chavis’ right temple…but he’s left handed.

I think they killed him. My son wasn’t suicidal.

SMH. This doesn’t sound right to me at all. And of course these cops will stick up for one another.
