Steel Magnolias is without question one of my favorite movies. The original movie featured an all star cast, including Julia Roberts, Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field, Shirley Maclaine, Darryl Hannah, & Dolly Parton. Anytime this movie comes on, I watch! Absolutely a fave!
Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard, Condola Rashad & Adepero Oduye will star in the new version of the movie, and I’m curious as to how this will go. I’m one of those that believe leaving well enough alone is always the better option (like, why are we getting Think Like a Man II?) but I’m always open to something new!
