The hood love song is old, I remember hearing it 2-3 years ago w/out trey songz but Johnta Austin instead, I think he wrote it, and I think he sounds better than trey on this one

I'm with yourstrulymj: Johnta's (older) version is a lot better than the one with Trey. But Trey's version is still decent. And Usher…yeah, no. He is failing worse than Tameka's last breast lift lately. And that is sad because he really should be the best- outside of Ne-Yo.

I have loved Hood Love (Johnta's version) since I first heard it. this is the 2nd song of Johnta's that Trey has re-recorded (I Need A Girl being the 1st). They were both on Johnta's unreleased (but still available if you search for it) cd "Ocean Drive." Day 26 song is cool, I like Trey's version of HL, and Usher is just so-so. I don't know if Usher's new cd is gonna be it. *Kanye shrug* I'll reserve judgement til it drops.

Hood Love was released 3 years ago with Johnta Austin n MJB, that version is a lot better than the trey songz one…day 26 track is ok and Ursh just needs to retire, since he got with tameka his music has been whack, i dont think the divorce helped him musically either…

I'd like Day 26's song if the music wasn't so extra. All of that just bothers me. Why do tracks have to have so many layers? Sometimes less is more especially when you have really good vocalists.
The Trey remake w/MJB was alright, but Usher…. what has happened to his musical mojo?
